My dog will only eat kibble once in the blue moon or when he's very hungry. A kg of dry food will usually last for 2-3 months and is served 24 hours aday. Other times he is fed with milk, Cesar and home cooked food consisting of fruits, fish, beef and chicken...occassionally turkey. My doggie very fussy over treats too.... garlic pills or vitamins...don't dream.

But the kibbles that I gave him is quite expensive. We might consider to give him science diet. he loves the treat because he hardly gets them unless he behaves.

Maybe it was my mum's fault coz when i was away for studies last time...my mum will always go to the 'bak kua' man to but the chicken wing for him. That's why he become like thatlah...... Since he is 3 + it's no use to torture him to switch his diet but i believe the diet is ok for him coz his coat is thick & the colour is ok Just asking, is ur doodle greedy for food? My fren's lab....so greedy for food that whatever it is given...it'll clean the plate till it shines...dogs like that no need to worrylah

Very adorable actually... but now, we train him to sit down properly and wait till I said GO.. then only he is allowed to eat. He will definately finish his food. I think he is quite greedy in that sense. Last time used to gobble but now slow down abit already...

This is becoz they're still growing small meals make them digest easier rether than 1 large meal. Maybe u can change to once when he's around 12 months Maybe u can encourage him to eat by being with him during meal or carry up the bowl for him... it encourages him or take him for a walk or give him some treats or rawhide after meal Hope it works coz it works for mine

Stool hard if it was yesterday's food (i mean, a walk in the morning before breakfast, therefore the stool has to be yesterday's) If after meal, his stool is soft. His nose is wet. But sometimes when he wakes up, it is quite dry. I notice that his eyes has alot of discharge. Normal? Heard from somebody that it is because he is heaty??

And he can be the most difficult dog to satisfy. Apparently poodles are really arrogant dogs. The choose what they want to eat, play etc. So, mine chooses his food. I have to mix his kibbles with some of the canned 'My Dog' food. He loves it. One of my friends has the same breed, and her's chooses the flavour of the canned food too!!! She knows if it's salmon or chicken or vegetable flavour. What the trainer told me was never leave the food out for the dog too long. Leave it during the usual meal times for about 20-30 minutes. If the dog doesn't eat it, just take it away. Then the dog would have to wait till the next meal. They eventually will l learn the fact that if they don't eat, they will starve for the rest of the day. It sounds really mean, but we have to let them know that we are the boss, not them! I also strongly suggest that you should give your dog dry kibbles anyhow. YOu can mis it with some other food. It helps to clean their teeth.

Hi, actually feeding rice will nake ur dog bigger...taht's why ppl with large breed dogs normally feed their dogs with rice. it's ok provided u still feed him kibbles. my lab eats kibbles in the morning and kibbles mix rice n can food in the evening. as long as kibbles r still fed then it's fine. maybe u can mix the rice with some cooked chicken or beef. i think he'll like it

So yesterday I boiled chicken with the skin as well and then add rice and then carrot and spinach ( i read from eagle pack that spinach is rich for iron) hehehehe... So he ate everything but the spinach. That dog ah... feel like cekik that fella. SO choosy!
