Bought my GSD some months ago, got the cert and chip number, then I email MKA to ask, then surpise they come back to me that the number is not belong to me, it still belong to the pet shop. How come about 3 months the dog still belong to pet shop? they did not transfer the name to me? anyone can advice what is the next course of action need to be taken? dannysao

Sorry to hear about your problem. Call MKA and ask for Ms Julie and explain your case to her. It will be more helpful if you are a MKA member. Julie can refer your case to the Manager and see what can be done to resolve the matter. It is important that you can show proof of purchase so as to transfer the puppy to your name.

Hi,
before you call MKA, did you apply for a change of ownership? If you did not then there is nothing that can be done.
