My dad and my husband and I are having a difference in agreement about when we should start socializing our pups. My Dad and us both got a puppy around the same time, last week. My Dad thinks not till they are about 6 months till you can start taking them outside or even around other dogs. My husband and I were told the sooner the better. What do you all think?
Not trying to be a pain, is it after the first set of shots or all the shots. I want her to start getting used to being around people and other dogs as soon as I can. My mom has a very skittish dog, good around people but is not around other animals...he's afraid of a rooster of all things. Even though it was very funny.
Hi thanks for letting me know. I was confused because the vet said that I had to bring Hadassah in three weeks after her first set of shots the again three weeks after that till the time of her getting spayed.
hmmm.. maybe you'd like to check the vaccination thread got more info there. spaying shud be done at 6 months old. vaccines is 2 months, 3 months, 4 months then the rest is yearly.. can also start heartworm prevention at 4 months old..
