actually animals fur are more common than we realised. its not solely use to make coats for european market...they can be made into accesorries..blah blah...some so called faux fur are actually dog or cats or rabbits fur.. we could have accidentally buy it without realising we just contribute in killing an animal. so to be safe, stay away from anything that looks like fur

did u come across the article that says the racoon was stil alive after they skin him n dump him on a pile with the rest of those animals that has been skinned? arrghhh.....they have the video too but i dare not look, i think i will faint...dont understand how anyone can bear to kill them...such a monster!! immy

if you visit guangdong, or even yunnan area there, they have animal markets which include cats, no not the civet cat but the house cat... all live animals... ready to be eaten....
