hiya...

pls refer to my icon.... this is my ACS. I never bring her for any professional grooming. Is this how ACS looks like without grooming? i mean with the long hair on her head and covering her eyes? coz i usually see ACS with short head hair...

Is your dog cream & gold color? I like this type of color not too brown. Or is it the photo lighting impact? Btw where you buy your ACS from? Petshop or directly from breeder? If from local breeder, can give me his/her contact?

I would prefer to have a cream & gold color ACS. Second choice would be gold & buff.

Need my help??? I already know how to cut after I sent my ACS for grooming once. Then just follow the pattern and maintain it myself. But of course cannot compare with the professional groomer, mine is amateur standard so FOC if you dared to give me a try. Kekekek....sound scary???

Personal experience, better don't send to pet groomer, each time I sent my dog get skin problem after grooming, treatment cost more that grooming cost that is why I groomed her myself ever since.

Your dog hair so long, doesn't it feel hot? And doesn't its fur/eye lashes poke its own eyes?

I stay in Cheras. U dared to let me try???? Ya...I cut my dog follow that style, but not too botak (poky) but short layer, because her skin is sensitive to the shaver, so cannot put too close contact to her skin with the shaver. I actually bought a vidal sasson shaver for trying on my son's hair, but hubby dislike I DIY on my son. So...end up this tool becomes my ACS grooming tool.

Now my ACS got stolen...just after I groomed her myself 3 days ago.

Your Yuki very pretty with cheong sum. Doesn't she shake off the ribbon?

Eh...your neighbours never complaint, keep so many dogs in apartment?

I initially have 3 pets, now ACS got stolen, GSD had already rehomed with my sister in Kedah last year due to several reasons (1) cannot find a good vet to treat her genetic health (skin & hip)problem (2) medical cost in KL too high to maintain her (each treatment costs me RM250-300 in KL, whereas in SP only RM70) (3) my sister can bring her morning walk every morning, and my sister's house is a semi-D.

Last weekend just adopted a mongrel dog to company my beagle. I'm now waiting for a reputable ACS breeder's puppies.

This evening got a SMS from my sister, my GSD just passed away. Last week suffer pneumonia, went vet twice, but also died eventually. Hai..ya...sad....

I don't really know any breeders personally, but found from website one. I saw those 1st generation champion line quality very nice. Fur very thick, and body build very nice too.

How old is your Yuki? You bought from petshop? Does your Yuki has any hyperactive problem? Last time my Tasha has this problem, cannot sit still for long. When see food, tam-chiak like crazy...I bought Tasha through a friend of a breeder too.

But this time I want those 1st gen champ line (which means both parents are champ) quality from a reputable breeder. May be next time can try go for competition ma....

Rental of landed property in Cheras is not very expensive what??? All your money gone into feeding your 3 furkids? But they are small eater, hmmmm...must be grooming cost then.

Yuki is 9 mths old now. Cant remember clearly � but her grandparents from Wst Aust. Got Am Ch. :p Coz I duno how to groom and take care of her so didn�t tot of bring her to show lor. Heard from my fren those dogs for show reli very very very very very nice one they fur and body. Envy envy �

Aha...the reputable breeder is going to sell his female puppy to me. This Sunday I am going to see the puppy. It is 6mths old now.

Hopefully she fits my bill. Hmm...lately financially tight a bit, because just came back from US trip, and my company have not reimburse me my expenses yet, further to that no bonus, no increment. And new year is just around the corner.

Wa...lau..e, I just noticed each of your dogs have its own cloth. How many sets of cloth do you have for them. So far my beagle only have 1, and just bought recently. Very expensive leh...RM33 per pc.

Ya...lor only 8.5-9kg. Good size as a pet to carry & cuddle. But always kena bulled by my rough beagle.

Hopefully this new puppy can grow as big as beagle size, then she won't get bully easily lor.

Just curious....since you have 2 Silky Terriers oledy, why u still buy an ACS? Lagi u stay in apartment, very terror la u..., not affraid the apartment mgmt confiscate your doggies? Tongue

R u working or still studying? So u normally bring all of them out or leave them at home?

Today I had just bought a male ACS from Ipoh. I drove all the way to Ipoh and bring back the dog.

Not cheap, but it has the color and the muzzle I like. And tomorrow is my son's birthday, so this puppy is just in time for his birthday.

The dog is only 3 months old. I named him "Golden" since his birthday cert name is Gold Diamon McMillion.

Actually I didn't tell my hubby before hand that I wanted to buy another dog, I was quite concerned he would scold me for spending unnecessary money and always never save enough money for dry season. I already planned 2 good reasons just in case he commented that. Reason #1, for my son's birthday. Reason #2, since he didn't buy any present for me on Valentine day, I bought myself one lor.

Haha..luckily he didn't say anything bad at all. He knew me well, he just said that I bought this dog is for myself more than for my son.

No..the cert is not out yet, but the breeder show me those puppies's names & document which is going to submit to MKA.

Ya...good, so young got gf waiting for him oledy.

The breeder will send the cert to me. If I do go Ipoh, I could drop by to collect if I wanted to, she has fruit orchard there.

Now with my "golden" I have to take extra caution, will let him play inside the house only. I dared not take him for a walk in my neighbourhood when he had grown up, will drive to a park instead. Because if I walk him around my neighbourhood, people will know where I stay, and then at night break into my house again.

My beagle Whoopy is very funny..keep on want to sleep with him inside the same cage. The puppy is still very frighten with barking sound. Whenever the big dogs barked, the puppy will quickly hide inside his own cage.

Now I have 3 dogs at home too.

Well...your friend showed u the newspaper on Tasha. Your friend must be wondering whether Yuki is Tasha or not. Because they both have the similar color. Except that Tasha's fur is more silky gold, not really buff color as others.

I normally feed my dogs with 2 table spoon Omega 3 Corn/Seseme Cooking Oil a day with their dog food, this is to give their fur shine. No other supplement except fruits.

Golden's fur is still not gold and shiny yet, kind of dry. I am starting him with the same formula now. Hopefully his coat will turn out fine and nice too. His coat is not as gold as Tasha,it is white coffee but the breeder said it is still baby fur, not yet changing. But I saw Golden's daddy is like your Yuki color, not like Tasha color type, so I doubt it will turn out similar as Tasha.

Can...cooking oil more economical, taught by an old famous vet. Buy those Tesco/Giant brand cheaper lah...but preferably corn with stated Omega3, to prevent high collesterol.

Last time I spent a lot on Cod Livers oil etc, very expensive to maintain. Cooking oil cheaper and can afford to give everyday. Better result like that.

U can start off with 1/2 teaspoon first, see Yuki "lau sai" or not, then slowly increase the dosage. I feed my dog 2 times a day, so 1 tablespoon each meal.

What dog food brand u give Yuki? There is one Korean brand very good, I forgot the name, let me find out, I think KL only limited outlet selling this brand. I bought in Sg Petani, Kedah last year. Quality very good, and price is reasonable. According to one of the beagle owner in puppy.com said she found 1 shop in KL selling that brand. I used to buy huge packet (25kg) I think. Because 2 dogs eat ma...

Is your silky boy hump at 2 months old? Golden likes to hump on my leg. He is only 3 months old, so young already know how to practice the skill.

When you bought your Yuki, how old was she?

I preferred to have a puppy trained by myself from 6-8 weeks old. They will have to behaviorial problem. My Tasha was 5 months old when I bought her, she had a lots of bad habits I don't like very much, very difficult to rectify.

Are your Yorkies smaller size than Yuki? I have seen Yorkies in variety sizes. Do you normally bring your dogs out?

Golden is superb in temperament. He just turned 3 months old on 19th. Very intelligent, already know the right spot to do his business. He is very routine in doing his business, after meal. Very easy to train. Just one week, he already knew the command of sit when food is about to serve, and other words like shake paw, no.

I took him out to my son tuition's place while waiting for my son tuition. He just sit right next to me obediently, even other kids tried to seduce him to go over, he didn't bother. Other people walk in and out, he just look quietly, not "kay-poh" or anything. But when see my son, he could recognise and wag its tail.

I took it to my regular petshop place, the owners also commented Golden is superb quality and value for money. Last time I enquired about the Mal Champion line puppy from another breeder, the price is RM2K for non-MKA registered, and it is pet-quality (means not show qualified anymore). Golden is MKA registered and showring potential and I paid less than RM2K.

The breeder seems quite concern about her dog, she even called me 3 days ago checking how is Golden doing etc. I believed she is a responsible breeder. She still have 2 puppies available for sale, if you have friends interested you can tell them. The remaining puppies are pet-quality for your information. But very unique in colors, they have liver-ross color nose, and the fur is lighter buff type.

Nowadays...I hang out a lot in this petshop called "Pets to All" in Tmn Segar, near Leisure Mall, just right opposite a BOMBA.

I sent Golden for grooming few days ago. Because he is not used to grooming, cannot stand still. So I sent Golden to the petshop for grooming, so them do it. RM40. Nice cut, Golden has a punk head come out and normal cocker style on body.

Hey..I just got a bid on a Hoto Rabbit adoption. Someone is going to give me free Hoto Rabbit. The one with black ear and whole white on body type. It is 1 yr++, the owner not free to take care.

My house will soon become mini pet-paradise. I already have a Syarian Hamster, 3 dogs. And a rabbit coming soon, and planning to add a pair of abby guinea pigs some more.

Ya...it is quite new. Open only recently...and most of the guys are gay looking. Anyway, it is very nice to chat with them, very friendly. They have lots of cool stuff in terms of pet clothing & bed.

They even have a waiting area for customer to sit and watch Astro. So that's why I hang out there quite often while waiting for my son's tuition. They sell rabbit, hamster, ferret too.

I love animals. So those pet I want to keep are those I like and I think I could manage.

Here is Golden after grooming look, neater on his legs and ear. I combed down his punk hair top.

The petshop has boarding too. They charged quite reasonable too, during CNY, people put their dogs from NYeve till 3rd/4th days only charge RM35 per dog (for duration of 4-5days I think). But of course, the price varies in terms of breed. The above price I overheard was for Cocker Spaniel. Husky, Rottie, GSD etc will cost slightly more, as food consumption is higher ma....Well...last time I put my GSD in other vet's place for boarding, RM25/day, another place quoted me RM45-60/day.

There are several guys there, look for Calvin. He is more experience in grooming. RM40 is full grooming (bath & full groom) for dogs without much fur. They will need to look at the dog before determine the price. I have seen them charging RM70 for Chow-Chow. Very basic groom is between RM10-18 (bath & groom only paw, private part).

Abby Guinea pigs are the long fur type. Very cute also, can respond oink-oink sound when you feed them or see you coming. I have guinea pigs before in Penang, but died after visiting the vet, 2 times incident like this. Both vets admitted they are not very experienced in handling guinea pigs, but I can't find any other vets in Penang. Actually my guinea pigs had diarrhoea, so the vet gave me medicine to feed them. your dogs ever play with your hamster?? coz last time my fren's Lab (sudah pass away last yr) will not move and let the hamster walk around her .. kekekekekee cute ehh ...

No lah...my dogs all want to catch the hamster and bite probably. They cannot get along with hamster. They all have hunter instinct, even Golden so small also behave like this. I did introduce them to my Andy (Hamster) with supervision. At times I let my hamster crawl inside the house freely, separte the dogs either inside the cage, or outside the netting door. They all go crazy with over excitement.

But if I put the hamster on my Beagle's back with my hand still holding the hamster, my Whoopy will not move, I think she feel geriee.

Abby GP is very tame and like baby rabbit size. Last time I also feel geri with touching hamster too and I don't like normal GP, geri too as it looks like those big longkang tikus. But now get use to my hamster, but not other type of hamsters which are small in sizes. Syrian is the biggest in size for hamster.

If you are going to "Pets To All" this Saturday, you can meet me there, as I always there around 11am till 3pm. One of the petshop partner has one female 10mths old chamipon line ACS named "Paris", very beautiful too, very thick fur. I heard they are preparing her for dogshow competition. I like to see her too, as most of the Saturday she will be there for basic grooming. Her eyes very beautiful......

Need consistant training lor...Tasha last time will fetch and bring back to me obediently. Whoopy sometimes will do that, sometimes she decides to play on her own without giving it to me. Golden will fetch but don't know to bring it back to me yet.

Now I give Golden a rabbit softtoy. He will carry it to a comfortable place and chew, he didn't tear it, but will bite here & there, then shake with its head.

Ya la...got pasar malam tonight....eh?? I tot you brought her full groom recently? If you cannot find parking near shotlots area, you can try park opposite residential area and walk over. That is what I normally do.

The shop is located directly opposite Bomba. End shoplot can see MCA office.

Aiyoo dont take her to grooming so often lah...........cos unless and until they sterilise all their grooming kit and bathing tub after each use, it's never that hygienic lah and there is always a greater risk of catching skin problems. Even the vet I go to tells me that.
