Itchy and red under belly n armpit...HELP

Hi all,
Need help. I noticed my dalmatian puppy under belly and armpits are red as she scratches it. But her other parts of her body seems fine. I suspect it's b'cos I use clorox to clean her sleeping area everyday. So what I do is to wash her under belly and armpit area and she would stop scratching. Does anyone have an explanation or experience on this? My dog doesn't have fleas or ticks...vet gave her a clean bill. Is there any ointment to relieve itchiness?
