Hi Khoo,

Are we going for the jungle trail this time? Anyone who has been through the trail please do comment the condition. We tried it for a short distance and it seems quite exciting. It also seems like all the way up and rather narrow too.

Hi Jenn,

Yah we found our way back thanks for your help! hahahaha that was one exciting walk....it took us about 2 hrs frm the time we went into the jungle trail until we reached the gate....didn't expect it to be such a long walk...first timer who joined us like Min Yang, don't be scared off by the experience yah Tongue.....i must say it was a thrilling experience...we got our shoes in the mud, went thru a narrow path full of 'lalang', saw horses and also encountered a snake! LOL....the only person who was worried was Kang Ser coz he was pressed for time to get back to work Unsure

So Khoo....now that we know the way, wanna hv another go? kakakakakaa LaughTongue

hehehe... dun know how you did it! went in with Trio once, and my coach who came along with me with her stallion got so freaked out coz the trail just went on for ages and everytime we saw a clearing, when we got there, it wasnt the exit, it was just more jungle. And on horseback we couldnt turn around coz it was really steep.

Anyway, very impressed you all got out fine. Did anyone have to carry their dog? Sly hehe...

Yeah when Jason and I checked out the path we also saw someone riding his horse across the trail, also there were a lot of ppl cycling by too on their mountain bikes.

heheh well only Ivan carried his Boddhi when we were going downhill coz Bodhi was pulling ahead and he was afraid he'd slip down the slope Laugh

Anyway, glad everyone made it through and nice meeting the new members. Hope that Kangser made it on time for his F1 marshall duty Wink.

Re: [luckey] Puppycom Kiara Walk 22-3-2003

Hi Jenn,

It was definitely a nice try. When we cross the hill we saw the green dome on hill top and we thought that will not be good if we will have to land at the science centre. True enough, we landed there with the Equestrian Club in front of us. We met your young friend there and finally saw you and with your help, we managed to get it back to the gate.

While trying to get you, we managed to get the help of Arthur and CD Moo to get your contact number.

It will be nice to try it again some other time.

Re: [ginl] Puppycom Kiara Walk 22-3-2003

What a crazy morning we all had Crazy! We started ffrom Taman Tun, and ended up the side of the hill at National Science Centre. To jungle trek is OK, but to do it with our furkids was a totally different story. Bodhi saw a whole new world today, and she was absolutely fascinated by the strange jungle scent. She was knocked out when we reached home and slept most of the afternoon...err, so did I Blush. Thanks Jennifer, for showing us the way Wink.

By the way Khoo, since we were the "guinea pigs" today, you might want to give us a t-shirt with the words "I CONQUERED BUKIT KIARA.....WITH MY FURKID" WinkWinkWink HeeheeHee, just kidding.

Managed to get "Run with Horses" (Jennifer) smoke signal (handphone number) to WebMaster Khoo. The great spirit musta guided your recce party to meet up with rescue pack lead by Run with Horses.

Hi guys....

I had a really wonderful time this morning. I really did enjoy it ... except I didn't expect us to go for such a loooooooooong walk and at times, it feels like we will never get out from the trail... Smile It was sooo much fun and I dont mind doing it again sometime soon (not 2 hrs again lar). It was really a memorable day meeting all the doggy member, hiking up the trail, being lost, being "guided" by some cyclist, seeing horsey around, viewing the science centre from the hill, visiting Jennifer, meeting up some green snakes... I guess it was the most adventurous time for me a long time. Gina, thank you for taking us there ! and to the others, it was nice meeting with everyone....

Hi Khoo... yes next time maybe I'll come along too... but must've been reallly muddy in this so wet rainy season tho!

There is a shorter trail on the other side of Kiara (where you saw the green dome) which is also not so hilly, but after you conquered what you conquered today, that may be a bit boring for you guys LaughLaugh

It was only muddy on a small portion when we decended from hill top. All who went with shoes were doing fine except Kang Ser who did not think that we were serious enough to try the jungle trek came with slippers and as a result, he fell down several times Smile

As for GINA, she kept a lot of mosquito there happy.

Glad to hear your furkids are ok again. Once all of us got tummy upsets together, luckey brinkley chris and myself! we decided itwas the water, so we installed a filter system for our water supply. Another time luckey ate her entire chew bone (after she had made it really soft.) She swallowed the whole thing then threw up up again, the bone was like as long as one of her legs!
