Labrador Hair loss

buccaheads Novice Nov 7, 2004, 6:44 PM Views: 2103 Labrador Hair loss G'day. As a new owner of a Labrador Retriever I am on a learning curve and would like some advice from experienced owners. Firstly-- Hair loss. With the change in temperature my dog is losing a lot of hair. This was expected, but i would like to know how long this goes on for. Does having had puppies recently contribute to the hair loss? I brush and 'shake' her several times a day but the hair keeps on a-coming !

Maybe the shampoo is not really suitable for the dog or you had put too much or it or you wash your dog many times a week.
