Jungle, mozzy bites, fresh air, doggies and stream water in your shoe @ gasing hill. If any of those things interest you, do come and join us then !

NOTE : Do put your dogs to be on-leash at all times & Pick up after your dogs poo.

Date : August 14th, 2004

Meeting Venue : Taman Pendidikan Bukit Gasing

Time : 7.30 am

Direction 1 :

From Padang Merbok’s roundabout use the way towards Telekom. After driving passed Telekom on your left you will see a row of shoplot and signboard of a restaurant called “Lotus”. Just before Lotus Restaurant, on your right, you will see a Chinese Temple and there is a junction. Turn right. After turning do go all the way straight for about 200 – 300 meter and there should be a playground of some sort and you can park your cars there. There should be a signboard that says : Tmn Pendidikan Bukit Gasing.

Direction 2 :

Beside the Lasalle School, there is the Raju Restaurant – go straight all the way up and you will reach a T junction. At the T junction do turn to your right and go all the way straight you should be able to see the playground.

Things to take note of :

1. Dogs have to be on leash/harness on all times.
2. Please pick up after our furkids poo.
3. Bring plastic bags
4. Bring water for human n for furkids
5. Wear stockings
6. Have a good pair of walking shoe or sneakers.
7. One dog per person is highly recommended as it’s a real jungle trail.
8. Don’t wear too short a shorts if you are afraid of being scratch by the bushes and donating blood to the mozzy ya ! ;)

The trek is not so difficult actually,only those "OLD KAKI" go very fast, and we "new bird" following behing and feel very shy....and.....and we try scare to lost the way......and we try to speed up...the ...then....then,our breath.. ha ha and become very tiring....if you are the "new bird", then I teman you and go slowly,then shall have no problems lah !

Hey Rocky !

When we had our 1st stop... there was a bunch of people on top and the comments given about dogs was not so nice to hear. That's why we cudn't be bother staying there longer than usual Tongue sorry lor didn't realise that you didnt get enough rest ! next time let the front know by yelling it to us ya! Laugh

As for the 2nd rest at the stream, most of the time we walk slower there as we wud prefer to enjoy the water in the forest. Maybe coz its the 1st time you are following us so you most probably worried of losing us that's why i think most of the time you are like 'chasing' after us instead of just walking with us. I think most probably you'll get used to it after going in with us 2 - 3 times.Smile Just yell when you need more rest... I'm sure some of us will be willing to stay with u as most of the guys are already regulars at the Jungle Trek to know which way out Smile

Nothing is as bad as my 1st jungle trek with Surind n Jo ! LOL.... that's worst man ! Anyway, glad that you will be joining us again on this coming saturday. See you ya !

The vet never explain to u meh ?

If the dog bitten by Mosquito,then the worm will be growing in the blood stream and after a while the worm become big & more and gather at the heart,and the dog will be dead due to heart attack.

U can either have injection which last for 6 months or take heart guard every month. Your dog still young,plas ask the Vet when to start the heart guard.

I did not see amy bridge,so I will try to observe tommorrow, there are actually many trails, if you get lost, u might ended up at the other side.

The were many Hatch runner have paper marking on the ground. One of my Hatch runner frend said if you follow the paper marking, u will end up at no way....Sly so bring your handphone,make sure u have enough credit,battery are fully charged,then u can call for help !Sly

For your info, I manged to complete 3.5 km run today,so my staminal is okay and my legs are strong,only worried for my wife ......Sly

i didn't sleep at all. after i reach home, i help my father clean the house, then go bring Henry for his last injection. then came back around 4. and take shower , watch astro, and online now. later watch 'twins effect 2' at midvalley.

i have seen mr.khoo through his pic. the rest all i 'feng tau' , no idea which is which or who is who. seriously, dont know how noonning, kaori, fion, yuan yuan ,ming yang, etc look like. but after the trekking, i know who is yuan yuan,ming yang, fion.

oh i see. i wanted to get Henry (mybeagle) a heart guard injection.

i not sure which is better. my vet charge rm150 for 1 injection that last for 1 year. another hospital charge rm60 for 1 jab that last for 1/2 month. i get this information from

mr khoo do not suggest the injection type as it is known to cause fatality. but i think injection faster.

There was a Cat show on last Sunday and this Saturday & Sunday have international Dog show,both held at The South City which is near The Mines Wonderland, not sure who organize it,didn't make it as we was very busy,not sure if any member from puppy.com went there ?

I got up at 6:30 and it was raining and was wondering whether to join you guys or not. Then when I thot about the big mozzies and not having any insect repellant I decided not to go.

I watched abit of the Olympics Opening Ceremony and decided not to go as I had an appointment at 10:30. To replace this jungle trekking, I took Duchess on a long walk with my other dog (Princess); like I said Duchess must lose some weightWinkWink

I am keeping my fingers crossed for next Saturday.

I see you got better stamina this round and that Taro enjoyed the climb too. What about Kiyomi? Better stamina this round?Smile

his rear paws still red & bengkak,but still can walk & run,I think it's pain too becoz he don't let me touch,once I touch,then he will licks the paws.I think he applied too much pressure on the rear paws during the stair climb,this was not the first time....I did not check it last week,may be last week also the same,Crazy he put 200% effort on the trekking,morever lenglui infront.Pirate

Will see how is the condition tomorrow,if no improve,then must go and see the Vet liao.

Thanks for asking, Taro looks OK now but still abit swallen,and one of the front paw also a bit bengkak,he still can jump,run up & down and went out to jalan jalan as normal,it shall recover soon, I guess he walk too much and applied to much force during jumping on the staircase,its not stepping on any stone or something...It's the consequences of chasing after "Lenglui"Crazy

actually my ex's sis...but she has a nick of calling my hubby and i her parents since her mum is mostly busy with work and social stuff..so we've been the ones to get her her first prom dress...send her for parties, help decide where she goes after her a-levels...that sort of thing.

in fact she and my senior gril crackers had great say in approving dennis as my boyfriend back then! for whatever reasons...they bonded real well.Tongue
