Wow, its round 21 now.... let's join us all for the trekking, fresh air, doggies and water @ gasing hill ya !

NOTE : Do put your dogs to be on-leash at all times & Pick up after your dogs poo.

Date : August 7th, 2004

Meeting Venue : Taman Pendidikan Bukit Gasing

Time : 7.30 am

Direction 1 :

From Padang Merbok’s roundabout use the way towards Telekom. After driving passed Telekom on your left you will see a row of shoplot and signboard of a restaurant called “Lotus”. Just before Lotus Restaurant, on your right, you will see a Chinese Temple and there is a junction. Turn right. After turning do go all the way straight for about 200 – 300 meter and there should be a playground of some sort and you can park your cars there. There should be a signboard that says : Tmn Pendidikan Bukit Gasing.

Direction 2 :

Beside the Lasalle School, there is the Raju Restaurant – go straight all the way up and you will reach a T junction. At the T junction do turn to your right and go all the way straight you should be able to see the playground.

Things to take note of :

1. Dogs have to be on leash/harness on all times.
2. Please pick up after our furkids poo.
3. Bring plastic bags
4. Bring water for human n for furkids
5. Wear stockings
6. Have a good pair of walking shoe or sneakers.
7. One dog per person is highly recommended as it’s a real jungle trail.
8. Don’t wear too short a shorts if you are afraid of being scratch by the bushes and donating blood to the mozzy ya ! ;)

I found a kitten outside my house and one of them has died. I placed at my neighbor house first because Fifi will bite it. The kitten is very weak and pitifull Frown

The Puppy Obedience Training Class is for dog of 3 ~ 6 Months in age and Puppycom has a training class that commence on September and by that time, you puppy will be more than 3 months old and just nice the the Puppy Class.

Yeah if the schedulle is fine then, I'll be going for both because I don't wanna waste this voucher too, if not I'll just give it to you, if you want. :) It's valid until 31st this month. i went there to check out pet safari and the dogs and dog accesories. didn't really buy anything. i did ask about the training, rm350 for 10 lessons. didnt really ask in detailed as i only asked the employer who r incharged in dogs selling section. the shop is big. dont think i got time to go on tuesday for discounts. they have few days which i like but is pretty expensive. first is english bulldog sold for about 5k, second is 2 siberian huskies (1 of them is sold already), shih tzu's, beagles (got brown color), etc. beagles were about rm1900. i even see their personal clinic and personal indoor training center.

my old have to throw away. remember that i told you that when i went for first jungle trekking with college mates. As this is my first time, i didn't have warm up, didn't bring any water, and my shoes were in bad condition as i didn't know it was that hard (gasing hill). The shoe is so dirty and heavy damage by mud (raining the day before). Don't worry , i go buy new pair. but a bit sayang to wear and get dirty in gasing hill. anyone can spare old shoes? Wink

Aiyo! I do not have two gentle giants - only one and that's Coffee. Terra, my 6-month-old lab is a real ngok poh in the making. She harrasses poor Coffee everyday - always jumping on him and biting his ears, neck and also....ahem.... the reproductive organs. Poor ol fella is terrified of her! This one is a real crazy Lab..... actually she's more like a greyhound + jrt mixed together. Greyhound becoz she runs like the bullet and jrt becoz she's like a bouncing spring.

She definitely needs obedience school! Cannot tahan her la. Crazy

the first time i went to gasing hill, was really totally a bad day for me. this was a first time for me to go to gasing hill under college event. i known nothing about gasing hill ; the difficulities, how is it inside, etc.

i brought nothing at all; not even water, towel to wipe sweat, extra clothes, pants, and shoes. Coincidence, the day before, it were raining. So the next day, the land were muddy. and my shoe were in bad condition (no money to buy new pair). AT THE END of the race, i have to tie my shoe lace to the bottom of the shoe as the rubber came out. luckily at the end of the race, there is free food and drinks catered for us. Catering save the day!!

During round 21,we also never prepare,no breakfast beofre coming to Gasing hill,then no strength,no staminal,almost dead afert come back,but this time I wake up early,eat light breafast then only OK.....

But Taro's really "Bengkak " oredi, he lagi terror,come back still can play throw & chase wiht me" eventhough the rear paws is painful,don't know why ? So red & bengkak leh....

. this round i well equip myself that is why 'sap sap sui'. last time i didn't equip myself bcs i didn't know at all what is it all about - how long, how difficult, etc. and last time the journey is more difficult bcs i have to climb up the hill to reach the ending point. and i don't think furkids can climb up bcs it is so high and the land are little to step on and nothing to hold on (luckily the respective parties have put something for us to hold on)

lol thanks. i well equiped myself for that saturday. well, i don't mean to boast. but the track is much easier compare to the first time i go to this jungle. the worst is that i have to climb the steep land in order to reach the ending point. i think the ending point is telekom (am i right?).

luckily yesterday , we didn't climb up there. i hate climbing up there. so steep and there is nothing to hold on - when i go there for the first time, the respective party have put something for us to hold on, and a tree have fallen off.
