Beagle lovers!
Hey there all dog lovers! Anyone wanna share about their beagle experiences? Just got ourselves a little pesky but cuuuuute beagle pup. He's learned to sit after only a week with us. He's now starting to bite alot.

You got a very cute little beagle. I think there is a thread under breed specific for beagle owners. You're sure to find heaps of them at this forum in general. Welcome and enjoy yourself.

Congrats on getting your very own furkid... smart fella you got there... where about did you get him anyway?... looks really good... markings very nice... give him lots of toys and some cow hide to chew on... that will save you lots of money from buying or replacing new shoes and other stuff he chews up...

I have a basset hound too which is quite similar to beagle. Both under hound...
My basset have a mind of his own. Very stubborn and actually think twice when I call him. Yup, that's my doodle!

I have a 9 months old beagle..

Hmm lets share about beagle' attitude..

they are hyper active ( in fact i have problem in training them, lol)

well, it will take more time to train them i guess..

But on the other hand, they are such a cute and nice doggie..

Hmm and they like to do the " howling" sound at nite ...( for my dog, i dont know about other beagle).Blush

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I'm sure I'll enjoy the company here. fweeyi - beagles are known to be stubborn so they are quite hard to train, they are really smart, just veyr stubborn. Have to put in lots of effort to train them. Toby just zaps up all my energy.

If any of you have good training tips for beagles do share!

A big welcome from me n coco also!! U hv a very smart n cute beagle there...

Beagle fanci is getting more n more huh!! Seeing lots of pp getting them. They r very fast learner n smart. Coco learned to sit also when only a week with us. Now teaching her to down, hand n others... Like u said, love to bites...OUCH!
