Was browsing thru the Schnauzer Club, Singapore forum when I stumbled on this event. There will be a grooming demo by Patty Ledgerwood, a breeder from Legacy Kennels. She has bred and groomed many American Champion Mini Schnauzers from her kennel. The Schnauzer Club, Singapore is organising a grooming demo on a live subject by Patty next month in December. Details as follows: Date: 14Dec2002 (Saturday) Time: 2-6pm Venue:Residence Committee Facility, Blk 4 Toh Yi Drive (Off Bukit Timah Road), #01-217 Room 2 If you wish to attend this, please register your interest with them. Patty was kind enough to go thru everything step by step starting from grooming equipment, shampoos, ear cleaners, dremel to grind down nails, electric clippers, clippering techniques, handling a dog on the grooming table, grooming tips etc.. she took 3hrs for the 1st demo alone. We had a very cooperative schnauzer girl (Buffy's her name) which makes the grooming session very enjoyable. Too bad photos and videos were not allowed except for the official photographer. Maybe the SCS will post the pictures up later. As for myself, we tried it out on our Pepper girl and I am quite pleased with the results. Will post some pics later. You should have been there Eliza.. Hopefully there are some one will organise this kind of demo again and hopefully it is in Malaysia. Yippi’s coat is growing long already and I have to bring him for grooming again. I’m also plan to buy an electric clipper soon, which brand will depend on how much of our bonus. Hee hee… Eliza
