yeah that's what i use for the poles - those very lightweight pvc pipes... i wrap them round with the heavy duty colored tape just so they look colorful and pretty...

Sure CD. We will bring a long some food and drinks. For the event that will start at early as 9.00am, will have to think hard on the type of food to bring for the meet Smile

Hey all...this is sooooooooooooooooooo exciting!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for the event....I'm not very sure if I will be around on that day...but if i am going away for holidays I'll try to be back by the nite of 29th!!!!

I can make some fruit salads from home and maybe get some egg tarts or some cream puffs....

We need someone to bring paper plates and cups and disposable cutlery maybe?

I think at best, I can supply a few more PVC poles. Not sure how to do those 'stumps' , the stumps can be just wooden sticks perhaps? We need to hammer them into the ground?

sorri, due to workload, 70% is a high high high % i can promise, i will hope to meet u guys there. More do u let Rex jump into the lake ans swim....i think labbies is good in that right ?

But one problem for me.....if i bring Bonney along, anyone know of any hotel taht allow pet ? Help pls, else i gotta to "tumpang" in one of my friend place just in case.

One by accident, as the frisbee got blown to the lake (about 8 feet away from the shore) . But must admit that I was scared to death., Rex was only 4 months + then. Well, retrievers r good swimmers..

I think should Bonney tag along, better to 'tumpang' @ ur friend's house.

Dear cdmoo,

The place which u said i think is called kota kemuning it's a residential area with a lake and it's built by the developer named gamuda land bhd. (same as the one in klang named bandar botanic) i get to know there is a guard house at the entrence, so i thought only for those staying inside that area to enter.

i think should be no problem for all doggies to meet there but if they all went into the lake than it should be a big probelm. Tongue

as for me on Nov. 30th it's saturday and i'm working! 8:30 til 1pm. wah! u all got no work ah so good u all work five days week only ah!! another problem is my Jamie dunno anything on agility! she only knows to run here and there like a clown. Unsure

Probably u have not gone thru' all the treads... I stay in Kota Kemuning (KK), about 10 - 12 min. walk from the lake. Serene, why not u take leave on 30/Nov to join us ??

OK, people, here're the instructions to get to view the area that we r meeting on 30/Nov 9 a.m

(The venue)

U might be prompted to download the Flash plug-in and so forth..
Click 'Enter site', u will see a new window
Near the top right corner, u will see the picture of the KK township, click the "Click to view >>" to take a virtual tour. A new window will pop up.
The lake (green colour) is U-shaped. U will notice there're many green-dots. Position your mouse to the green-dot will show you the location.
Now, position ur mouse to the green dot(s) there r at the TIP OF THE LAKE, u will see a short text "Lakeside View". In fact, there r TWO green dots having "LakeSide View".
Click on these green dots to see the respective views. U will see a hut-like benches and 2 rows of palm tree. This is the area for our meet.

(How to go to Kota Kemuning)

At the top , u will see "Location", click on it, a new window will pop up.
Then click 'Click to View' to view the location map

(How to go to Kota Kemuning - the lake)

Once u enter the KK main entrance, u will see the fort-like structure and a guard house.
(dont worry about the guard house, no one will stop u)
Drive further up, u will see the big round-about, make a right turn (3'clock)
Drive up another 100meters, u will see a single-storey building on ur left, and on your right, u will see a big "McDonald Drive-in" signboard.
My suggestion is to meet at the building... BUT PLEASE DO NOT GET DOWN WITH YOUR DOGS THERE. This building is the 'maintenance office' , they r people working on Saturdays.

Ya..the developer has done a good job indeed.

I think u can print the map. Simply right-click it, there should be a 'Print' option.

Tried printing, but it's all in Flash, so can't do the normal print out from web pages... its ok, i managed to sketch the map down on paper.

I'm most likely going...unless I have something urgent going on....But I can't be there for too long becuz my shih tzu pup will be left at home (too young to take out, only 1 vaccine) with my parents and I don't know if they will be confident enough to take care of the pup...I'm bringing her home next weekend.
