my chow will do no.8. so, i follow the instruction frm the vet.open his mouth,put the pill deep inside his throat,close it till his telan the pill.no question ask. Laugh

I actually put the pills in between the treats / cheese neat... but she still manage to eat the treats except the pills wor....any advise what I can do ar ? I'm all out of ideas liao. Give together with kibbles also she will leave the pills out ate all the kibbles Crazy

hi,

nolah...actually she's quite obedient....when i raised my voice she'll sit there quietly even though she's scared. she knows that i'll never harm her.

i've never tied my dogs before unless on leash for a walk.....i only fence them or lock them in the room coz i don't want them to struggle n hurt themselves Smile

hmm...kibbles definitely out..

i find the treat one the easiest

the other way is to open the mouth and push the roof of the mouth upwards and just drop the pill in. Close and massage. Make sure your finger/thumb is on the roof of the mouth.

yea.... sometimes i got no choice but to tie my 2 kiddo up esp when i need to go out in my car or comes back home to open the gate. (Stay in the main road area so its better to chain them up for the 10 minutes or so than to lose them when they run out from the grill of my door)

i also got a lab coat. sometimes i pretend to be a doctor at home . playing with my brother.

btw now most of my friends had now graduated and they no longer need it... would you want it? haha......

just make sure that you put the pill at a proper position. deep behind on the centre of the tongue.

yalor, Schnauzer is a very "wai sek" breed. Yippi also very "wai sek" except to his kibbles... Unsure

I remember once, when I taken pill... I think probably he thaught that the pill is his pill (because the plastic beg is same with him one), he keep jumping and want to take the pill... Wink
