Hi all!

Just a weather update from Taman Rimba Kiara at 9am Sunday morning..it's FINE! Smile

I woke up to a rainy morning in Subang Jaya think "Oh NO!" Why today?" But a quick check with friends staying in Tmn Tun Dr Ismail quickly cheered me up.. NO rain, overcast sky ..just perfect!

See ya all there soon! Now where's that naughty Lee-Ron boy of mine? Dada wants to groom him before going out!

We have shot some photo using the Canon G2 4.0 Mega Pixels camera which was purchased last year. Some photo will followed shortly.

Hi all!

It was a dark and rainy morning... BUT nevertheless, we braved the rain and did throughly enjoyed ourselves in the wet grounds Sly

. Thks to all the kind and generous folks who contributed the food and drinks. There was more than enough to feed a small army! There were KFC by the barrels, Pizzas, Sandwiches, Pasta, Cheeses, Cakes, Local kuihs, watermelons, etc.. Les..where were U?)

Thks also to our webmaster who has made special arrangments for the park attendents to guide latecomers into the park itself and taking all the nice pictures.

Looking at the group photo, let's see what this historic 1st gathering of the forum members were:

Starting from Left to right, 1st row we have:

2. Friend (non-forum) with a ShihTsu..very cute with pleated forehead!

3. Andy(Carynn's husband) with Harry (Miniature Schnauzer)

4. Whitney (Whitwhit) with Phoebe (Miniature Schnauzer)

5. Sharon (my better half) with Lee Sha (Miniature Schnauzer)

6. Sarah (my god-daughter) with Lee Ron (Miniature Schnauzer)

7. Arthur with Pepper (Miniature Schnauzer)

8. Lim (Yllim) - couldnt bring her pekingnese due to rain)

9. Mrs. KhooBG with Booffy (Pug a.k.a. MIB!)

10. KBS with Snuffy (Beagle)

11. Kang Ser (Wkser) with Nous (Labrador)

12. Serene (Serene_kwlim) with Jamie (German Shephard Dog)

I hope the above information is correct. Please feel free to amend as applicable! BTW, Melanie and Kidde also made it but was too late for the group photo session. Still, we all loved her watermelons!

I have been watching with interest as you have been planning your day yesterday and so pleased you all had such a nice time with your dogs. Pity we can't get some of your rain over here in Oz it is do dry, I have been looking at the photos Khoo Boo Gee took and it is lovely to be able to put a face to the names and also your lovely dogs. I was espcecially interested in Boofie the pug as I am his ex mum and shed a tear when I saw him as I bred him and showed him to his title, I can see he is very happy and it was lovely to be able to see him with his new owners. I am an avid visitor of your forum and may be one day be able to get over to one of your shows with my pug children. Regards to all Margaret Australia.

Glad you enjoyed the photos and yes, It's always nice to put a face to the name. And you have every reason to be proud of Boofie cos' honestly speaking, he's one of the handsomest, best looking pug I've seen so far! Guess even the AKU judge agreed as Boofie won the dog CC. Looks like he's well on his way to his Malaysian Championship title. We have 3 more shows left in 2002 and I believe KhooBG and wife will have added the Malaysian title to Boofie list of achievements.

Now KhooBG has to conquer the obedience ring as well... Webmaster?

Arthur broke a little secret of mine. As Boofie was entered into show on Provisional Registration pending completion of registration, I was holding back from letting Margaret know the good news until proper local registration was completed and with the CC confirmed. Until then, results are still provisional. With the completion of documentation a week ago, the process should be fine from here. What a way to break news to Margaret. Cheers

Wow the gathering looked really fun!!! Wish we couldve been there. I went to the training instead to check that out... have just registered my dog Juno for the upcoming basic course. Once she starts to socialize, i'm sure she will relish these meets - so i hope you do one again soon!

my pup luckey is still too young to mingle with the rest of the world, altho i am slowly introducing her to a collar.

The pics look wonderful! What a nice place to hold a gathering....I'm pleasently surprise that they allow dogs in this sort of place....too bad about the rain....did the dogs get to hv their 'fetching' competition after all? And who was the king/queen of fetch?

Greetings from Bangkok. Glad to see that everyone had a good time. A bit unfortunate it rained but still a very good turnout!! Guess I'll have to wait for the next one. Still stuck here in BKK. Can you imagine how much I missed my dog Frown

. It's a real agony. I need a new job!!! Anyone???
Anyway, slightly off the topic, the accessories for the furkids here is really cheap. Good quality leash going for 45 baht (10 baht = RM1), show leash at 120 baht, harness at 160 baht, collar at 60 baht. I bought heaps of stuffs here!! Even the clothes for furkids are like less than RM10. I'm really going bonkers. If anyone requires anything, let me know. I'll bring home what I can carry. Cheers

No problem wkser, for RM4.50 it's worth getting. It's about 1 inch wide and made of nylon. Good and strong enuf for a lab. Color? Blue, yellow, black?
