i cant figure my big one out... he's cool in his younger days.. only in the recent yr he has become overly dominant over other dogs outside of home. he's 9 now...old boy liao but still so aggresive
We hold him back, spank him with leash oso he wont focus anywhere else but his target. (usually before the leash kena the butt oso yelp oredi...) n he is sooooo strong, he'd go really mad!
I wonder if its cos i have more dogs at home now n he's doing all these cos he wants to have all the attention?
Could it be lack of attention given and now to get the attention he wants, he's doing things which he knows you will not approve of?? Try spending more time and play him? do you think that might help?
I think it's very normal for your 9-yr-old boy to react in such a way... yeah~ no doubt, he's trying to get attention from you. So, have you ever tried any way to "compensate" him?
aiyoh.. sayang... he's so spoilt.. he still cant get over the fact that he's not the ony one.... . This one really know to 'tunjuk-perasaan' wan.. at one point, we were too busy to take him out for walks, he went on hunger strike...n wont eat until he gets to run outside... sigh.... but how not to manja him like tat ler???
dogs arr... can be so smart sometimes.... he knows how to bully us, thru our conscience...no help liao..sigh....
My Whisky kena smacked 2 days in a row by hubby for barking early in the morning and he has been sulking since. Just sitting in his corner and refused to come out for hugs and kisses. Gotto carry him upstairs at night
New addition, Bear is not helping the situation lah! Whisky just walk away whenever Bear comes near me. So 'sam thong'. Whisky is still my baby even though he is 4+ (my very first dog)
Whisky is my eldest 'son', followed by Jojo 'girl' and then Bear. He gets along very well with Jo; dont know why he just cant stand Bear! Sometimes, Whisky doest behave like a dog...he thinks he is human
OOhhhh.. mine does!!! she will sound like motorbike engine.. and can't stop walking around and then she will start her barking session when other dogs comes visits us!!!
he will!!! sometimes bark n grrrrrr...or bite the 3rd one's mouth or drag his ear or legs away (harmless)... but because my GR(3rd) is so much bigger, my 2nd MS will sit at a corner n look sad...
heeheee.. so what i do is sayang both oso loh, or ask my bf to play with the GR so i can sayang the other 2 kids...or i just ask them all to "Sit" ... n then just lie down next to where i sit.... after awhile, they will settle down... if not, i just walk away....
i supposed whisky thinks that i am not going to sayang him anymore. moreover just kena smacked from hubby few days back (kuat kuat one. Actually, I spoil him too much. He gets to ride in the car every morning when I sent my girls off to school and he gets the front seat! No need to invite him. Just jumps in! Puts his paws on the dashboard and acts like a lord. And of course, barks at anyone, including motorcyclists when they are too near to my car! I sometimes see other drivers shaking their heads when they look at us
But when he spots a dog, hell breaks loose!!! He will jump from front to back and my windscreen is always covered with his paw prints.
aikyo... car got alarm liao.. get too near got barking sound wannn.... heeheee
when i put my boys in the car, my gr like to go to front seat oso...splash the whole window with his drool n flirt with girls passing by,.... he is such a flirt...kaakaaa
next time we should park side by side n see how our cars go goyang=goyang with the monsters inside... heeheeeee
dogs ony focus on present wan.. so if u sayang whisky, then bear, whisky will still feel u forgot about him liao.. heeheee.. how?? sayang all together lohh!!!!!
whisky gets to sleep in our room, that's how much i sayang him and now that Bear is in, Jojo got 'promoted' to room status also lah. The only cage is now occupied by Bear. no more space for extra cage. DH said we are running a mini zoo
