i hv been getting great results from the methods i have discussed with u. Jay's beard is getting whiter one day at a time. it was very time consuming and tedious and at times there was a lot of hair pulling - my own. but i am glad i persisted and persevered. btw, another product tht i used is #1 All System Super Whitening Gel which i used once/twice a week and in between it was the boric/cornflour formula. i was fortunate that my search let me to an experienced petshop huskie owner/shower who was kind enough to teach me abt grooming/showing tips and to tell me abt the above Gel. i hv since switch from C&C products to #1 and they really work fine for Jay. i brought Jay over to him and he check Jay out and told me what to do. i just wish more petshops/groomers r willing to provide more of this type of value-added service. i believe that the correct products do help but in the long run it is us who will affect the outcome of how our pets will fare. Welcome to d Shih Tzu gang So, u hv finally found a new furkid to add to ur family n it's a Shih Tzu Ya, u r right, it's not easy to find Lhasa Apso breed here (whether in pet shop or breeder).

yup....this is my second furkid... i bought from puppyland...actually i planned to buy a shih tzu with cert...but turn out that this little furkid catch my eyes ler(she is without cert)...so we just bought her as she is so cute ler...a bit plump right now...hopefully she is healthy lor...as always heard that puppy tends to get sick when they are small... i think she will be able to join in the future gathering in a few months time...just got first jab nia...need to wait...she will go for 2nd jab next month...
Have some problem here as my furkid is having flu right now. She's been with me for three days only and this thing happened. Went to see doctor yesterday, he said my furkid might have distemper coz i think my furkid come from Thailand... is there any prevention or things that i have to watch out ?? my furkid right now is taking medicine only...is she going to survive ?? i'm afraid that she might have what the doctor say or she just have a normal flu ??
Hi Jan, y u go petshop n get the shitzu, dont u donow that pet shop doggie most came from Thailand or Rusia ?? Did u bring her see DR?? Separate ur new doggie n cocoa. Do a complete clean up using dettol or salt water. Did ur doggie lausai n fever ?? Hope she can recover soon !! ~~~ AsHLeY ~~~
i also dunno mar...buy liao only knew it coz i phoned up Eric... and he just told me that yesterday...so i quickly went to see the vet and the vet said eat liao medicine and then see how lor...if it get worse, it's confirmed my furkid got distemper thingy liao...my furkid right now can eat and drink...no diarrhea and no fever, only got liquid form thing come out from her nose, some more smelly...hopefully she only have just flu....
Hope she can get well soon, dont let cocoa share all the thing with her. u take 2 of them ?? separate 2 of them, if not will make cocoa sick too. ~~~ AsHLeY ~~~
Hi Jan....want to ask u did ur fur kid vaccinated? My shih tzu also show sign of getting flu coz his nose was oftenly wet. So i call up the vet and ask him and he said chances of my shih tzu get flu is low coz he has been vaccinated. So i guess u should ask a second opinion form another vet.But u must fast coz distemper is dangerous to our furkid.
my little furkid has just take his first jab on 8th November 2003. and now she got flu. hopefully she got better tonight... my other furkid, also get sick ler....vomit yellowish thingy. went to see the vet already.....really hope that my two furkid will get better...
Sad to hear on your furkid. Is she getting better today? Mushu last time nearly died when i brought her home for 1st day. When i bring her to the vet they are not able to detect what's wrong with her. She couldn't even walk or sit to pee. She just sleep there for the whole day and pee on herself. So i brought her back to the breeder and they give some lights to her just to make sure she's warm enough. How small is ur puppy? Coz when mushu is 10 weeks old, she's less than 1kg. So she's considered abit week. She had her flu also when she's almost 3 months. But she recovered.
Did u bring ur puppy outside for a walk when u just brought her back? Did ur other puppy had vacinations before?
My furkid is getting better. i think i must have suffocated her on Monday morning where we left her on the car for 1 hr. while i was visiting doctor..coz i also sick...so she started to have this flu thingy. Yesterday night, i checked again on her and the flu is getting better and don't have any smell. My puppy is 3 months old and just get her first jab. i think she should be okie as she is so active, some more got energy to chase people's foots to bite...the teeth very itchy...hehhehe....anyway, hopefully she can fully recovered. As for my adult furkid, he is fine already...stop vomitting yellowish thingy. thanks for your concern.....
Thanks for your concern. Anyway, my furkid is okie than last few days and really active. At least she can eat, run, drink...hopefully everything is fine and not getting worse. Really have to becareful when you really want to buy dogs from pet shops.
