I think as long as the dog is drinking from the bottle and eating only dry food, the moustache will not get dirty at all.... I've none of such prob since I first got a shih tzu...

Mmm....i think mushu got the problem because she only start to take solid food when she's 4 months old coz her teeth didn't grow until then. So i guess the stains come from there. Now i'm trying to get rid of it.

Yaloh........according to the vet her growth is a little bit slower than others......but now she's ok......therefore i'm trying hard to get rid of the stains.

Some ppl says that the tear stain is due to them being too heaty.... not drinking enough water... but some is due to their fur irritating their eyes... Just wipe it away everytime you sees it....

Hi there,

I read in one of the doggie books that we should give them a mixture of raw apple cider (whatever that is...) with water. I cannot remember the portions but I could check it out if you wanna know... Smile

Btw (me just keh poh), thought your dog is a silky?

thanks for the info. yes, i do own a silky and they sometimes also got those stain mar...so i wanna know how u guys clean shih tzu's fur as it's white in colour..Tongue i also kay poh kay poh come here see see nia ..Blush

i think wat u mean is applie cider vinegar to be mix in water. Put 2 caps full and let it mix in the water. They all hate the smell but they will drink it somehow. Some say that it can prevent ticks also.

Hehe.. maybe it's the same thing? I did read raw apple cider (vinegar??) in the book and it said could get them from health food shop wor... Thanks for the tip. Will give him some tonite. I have apple cider vinegar at home.

Maybe I should give Furbie some since he gets quite a lot on his eyes even tho i clean his eyes regularly...
