Hi Fun,

Just managed to get a description from CDMoo on how to get there. Hope it helps.

Pls. visit www.kotakemuning.net , the place what we usually meet is at the tip of the lake , which is nearest to the Kota Permai Golf & Country Club.

I suppose u know how to get into the K.K main entrance.. from Kesas Highway (the only way) .

1. At the 1st roundabout, turn 3'oclock.. Drive along, u will see the lake on ur left, and shop houses on ur right

2. Keep driving till u reach a Y-junction. Keep left.

3. Keep driving till u reach another Y-junction. Keep left.

4. After 50 meters from the Y-junction, turn to ur left. That's the place. U may park ur car there and walk towards the lake.

I do charity but not become that man that wears a box walkign around...under the hot sun, asking for money...but lets just put the box there in the middle of the hut...and see HOW CHARITABLE can puppy.com.my members be. I'll do up the BOX <---------- this one i voluteer!!! Is this approved??

just imagine those boxes in McD's that u so often see but dont even wanna reach your pocket to put something there...now u ALL have a chance...so COME...come to the gathering and be CHARITABLE..

Hi there...

I think it's fair that those who wants food / drinks should pay a bit. Unless if the person really doesn't want anything, then don't pay, lor...

If the public will get scare and run away then too bad.. cos they can't be expecting for free food and drink everytime they join a free dog outing. It's not fair especially to all the members who have been sponsoring food...

i think that's a good idea. Just leave it there and let people donate what they could.
The guest shouldn't feel that it's a force kind of thing and nobody is looking. Maybe we can put at one corner of the hut where nobody will look at how much they putting inside lor.. but someone to keep an eye on it la..

Paying a few dollars to help out in buying the name tags, food and drinks shouldn't be seen as a BIG thing. If you don't want to eat / drink then it is solely up to you.

The money is to help out the cost of organising which is normally being borne mostly I would say by our webmaster and some of us sponsor food.

We are just saying that its more fair that everyone share some of the organising cost of the gathering by paying a minimal fees. Don't worry we won't be asking for RM 10 or anything like that.

Even going to shopping in MidValley during the weekends irregardless whether you buy things or not you also have to pay RM 3 for parking lar.

It should be the way... Nobody should expect to come and have free food / drinks everytime. If they don't want to pay then don't drink, lor ... ask them to bring their own drinks than they don't have to pay lor...

i agree with u. those who dun 1 2 pay then dun eat or drink loh.

and i think those who bring food and drinks should just bring for their own group of frens if you guys are exchanging foods/drinks. dun have to bring too much to cater to everybody there since not everyone contributes.

as for the name tags, you guys could probably charge a fee for those who wants to have the tags. i'm sure they won't mind to pay for something they use...

i myself feel sooooooooooooooo shy to take food which i didn't pay for..and plus I'm a new member.. Blush

I wasn't sure how much to pay...if less than RM 10 then can lar..I don't mind contributing.. I thought I had to pay for the food which I'm not interested in eating. If i don't buy the food, then its like not contributing.. Unsure

The money collected is NOT for own gains or use but for our gathering's cost only. We are not trying to make money out from the gathering or anything like that.

I think since Mr Khoo came out with this website he has already invested a lot of money in maintaining the site & server upgrading. We shouldn't add in all these nitty-gritty gathering's cost to him too. To be fair lar.

If we got some excess of the money that we have collected then we could either put the fund for future use of other gathering like puppython, buying of name tags or using it for donations under puppy.com's name to SPCA or PAWS. Or better still use the extra funding to create more effective awareness campaign like doing of banners and such.

Do note that the free car sticker that we are getting is actually not free to Mr Khoo. It cost money to print too.

We should be more considerate in this kind of things which does not cost alot of money and we can do our part in making these gathering a much more FUN place for more members to join us !

I think RM 3 - 5 should be ok. We will try to make it as cheap as possible with some simple to eat food for everyone.

I'm sure no one will want to eat jelly and fruits esp after picking up the poo of our furkids. We will get those simple food where can pick up using the tissue or toothpick (no hands touching) - more hygenic this way and I'm sure that you guys will be more interested in eating it right ?
