Re: [GoldenAddict] Any DOBERMANS fans here? [In reply to] Can't Post

Separation anxiety is not at all a problem to solve. I find dogs with unstable temperament are more dangerous. That is why I classified then as high risks animals.

Every dog is different from the other some are timid, some are just plain aggressive. I am sure you know how to read body language.

You must establish yourself as the Alpha. Once you succeeded is this respect all your problems are gone.

I punished boarding dogs too BUT ONLY IF I could catch them red handed. If I missed that opportunity then I said to myself just my bad luck and cleaned up the mess or out smart you the next time.

Never ever confine a nervous or gila dog in a cage. It makes matter wrose. I prefer to chain it up outdoor with nothing he could injure himself.

Re: [Knotidoc] Any DOBERMANS fans here? [In reply to] Can't Post

Just for your infor, the dog in question was not and is not aggressive, it is generally very hyper and it is fine to crate it, this is dog with good pedigree and bred for hunting. I feel the "the aggression" issue is due to the simple fact that there is no flexibility in handling the dog. Just before anyone wish to counter my posting, I know the dog personally, train it for two session but stop due the distance the owner need to travel and secondly since they were going away on business might as well board and train it at the same time. The dog did come back to me a session and it was fine. The owner just wish to be able to walk the dog and go out with it and last year the dog attended two gatherings without any issue.

Well ghostrider, let this issue comes to a finale. After all both of us are 'third parties'. By winning a debate/argument in a forum you don't receive a trophy.

Since both sides of the episodes were posted for the members to evaluate IMHO I think that is good enough

AmenSly

Frankly speaking I have my reservations on a 6 months old puppy being aggressive.

Hi Knotidoc, I saw the earlier postings but decided to stay out of it till now, I can vouch for ghostrider now that I know who and which dog, then again i think this is the only weimer in Malaysia that is from Europe. I think the earlier posting by ghostrider is not to open the case of the dog and dog's owner but the way goldenaddict has been promoting herself, and the manner she condemns alleged breeder/puppymiller. Keyword allege.

Hi PSY,

In a forum such as this U cann't help it. The only solution is to ignore or discard postings that do not suite your taste bud, otherwise you will be very busy debating and arguing. And at the end of the day what have you achieved.

My mentor taught me 2 things in life (1) By arguing on and on until the cows come home will only give added pleasure to your opponents (2) You can win the war but you lose the battle.

I know who are the matured members in this forum. And I can identify those with substance. Puppymills & BYBs can never be eliminated no matter how and what steps you take. They are as established as prostitution Shocked
