Wah.... the joys of having a naughty dog hehehe.... I don't have a GR but I have lab, she was also very very naughty when she was a puppy, she will chew slippers, wood, furniture, dig up the garden and jump up and down. I tell you ah, all this naughtiness stop when she was 2 yrs old!!! So be patient with you little one. Oh, don't use the rotan coz it's thin and wood, he will only play.... try using a roll up newspaper and when he does something wrong, beat it on the floor to make a very loud noise and scold him when he do it lah. I gave this advice to a friend and the dog became very good, knows what the newspaper means. My dogs were all trained with the newspaper. I don't beat them, just make a loud sound..... oh, don't use your hane to smack your pup, he will think it's play of he might become frighten of your hand.....Good luck!!!
Hehehe.... my lab has a nick name too.... 'Vaccum Cleaner'!!! She eats everything!!!!
