Re: [peachtea] my dog suffering while boarding at petshop [In reply to] Can't Post

Sigh, once again, I'm not siding her. I may sound like I am but I'm not. I'm just pointing out the truth in boarding dogs at places like that. Better to know now then getting angry again from boarding the dog at another place where they cage dogs. I don't even know groomer well. She's just a groomer who bathes my dogs, that's all!

Anyway, I've given my opinion, my suggestion & advice already & I think I'm done for this post. I just hope that Canon/Kenneth is alright. If it's not all that serious like what lantiserette said like some fungal infection like ringworms or anything like that & it's curable, then okay. We cannot trust anybody sometimes even friends. And once again, doesn't mean when the dog boards at a cage-free place, doesn't mean that they're not stressed up. Okay, enuf said!

yeah i think you've done enough of keep repeating "I'm not defending the groomer"..."I'm not siding her"..."I don't even know the groomer well"

Re: [lantiserette] my dog suffering while boarding at petshop [In reply to] Can't Post

hi, lantiserette Smile

i took my dog to see vet this morning, he needs antibiotic and antifungal medicine for 10 days..

the vet met kenneth few times before.. he also feels sad when saw my dog get injured and so skinny.. he feels disappointed that the groomer so irresponsible..

i'm home now.. hope can take good care on my dog.. and hope he can recovered soon..

sound great that the boarding u recommend.. hope our fur kids can stay safety and healthy when we are not around..

luckily i have a best friend, she called kycie.. she is my best friend for 11 years ++ and also a dog lover.. she was helped me to send my dog home from the horrible place, and take care my dog at my house.. she treated my dog as own baby, feeds him, walks with him, plays with him, and vaccum my house too.. haha, she said must give my dog a clean place to lay Smile thanks god!!! if not, i really not dare to imagine how worst my dog onboard at the grooming shop there..

hope the groomer can learned from this case, and try to be a responsible groomer..

fur kid = our kid, our baby, please protect and love them!!! they are innocent!!!

Honestly boco, if you don't want to believe me, it's really up to you. But you don't have to reply me so rudely like that... Have I ever replied to you like this before? No right? So please, take it easy...

hi, welcome back.. :) oh.. need 10 days to recover? well, hope that he'll be recovered soon..

well, I found a few red swollen scar on my furkid's body like some insect bites (but no flea and tick on her).. the newest one that make me a bit worried is on her foot... I don't know what's the cause.. have you experience this before?

It's up to you to see it as a rude reply...i just cut&paste the words you said. Think you should be the one to take it easy when people commented that you're supporting the other side.

Re: [boco] my dog suffering while boarding at petshop [In reply to] Can't Post

vet said is the unhygienic environment caused it.. when the groomer took him out pee poo(some kind grasses places), and my dog walked/lie down on the pees(the groomer's place).. she never clean it.. i never requested her to take my dog out for walk.. but she told me that she lazy to mop the pees, so she took him out..

slowly and slowly.. the bacterial kena my dog's legs and abdomen.. and got those scar and wound seriously..

my dog is scared of the tiles type of long stairs at her shop.. so, why his neck was injured and cough? sure everyone can guess it..

meant that, the groomer never take care on my dog's hygienic (even she said got bathed my dog)..

the vet praised on my dog before that he got nice smell body and so clean and healthy, a nice body to hug for sleep (before sent my dog onboard, took heartgard injection at the vet there, same vet).. but, the groomer just grumbled that my dog was smelly..

when i complainted with the groomer.. just found that so many excuses and lies.. all things she told me before was totally changed.. last time said feed him once a day, suddenly said got twice a day.. then suddenly said once a day back.. suddenly said that got clean my dog's paws, then suddenly said never clean it.. suddenly said that my dog bite himself (got scar/wound), suddenly said the cage made it.. suddenly said that she did check the wound, suddely didn't.. bla bla bla bla..

after checkup with the 2nd vet now, here the truth..

this case only will be settled once my dog is fully healable..

I've not seen any suggestions from you in any of your replies to shalmay here so why want to talk so much & waste your precious time replying me? Anyway, I'm done for this post. Don't expect me to be replying you again becoz well, I've done my part of giving her my suggestion my opinion while you did not at all.

obviously the groomer is full of lies, such irresponsible person...did you complaint to the employer or the groomer is self-employed?

Re: [boco] my dog suffering while boarding at petshop [In reply to] Can't Post

the groomer is self-employed.. but got one partner too.. the partner is running few petshops in cheras and kl area now.. she is not handling this grooming shop.. only as a shareholder in this grooming shop.. so, the groomer only handling the grooming shop by herself as a groomer there, also stay at the shop.. only one staff, that's her..

complaint with the partner is useless.. because the groomer can lie on me(even we are friend), sure she can lie for others too.. the partner sure siding with the groomer.. because they are partner..

Re: [shalmay] my dog suffering while boarding at petshop [In reply to] Can't Post

Aiyoh. So sick ar?

Sometimes very "susah" also. Places providing boarding services should try to disinfect the place more often to minimize all these skin bacterial infections. Sometimes our furkid is like over protected kids, very prone to fall sick. It's like some of us humans, go for holiday come back got fever la, cough la... like that lor.

Best is to stay home or an environment/people they r used to, then no stress, no disease from other pets. Like my two girls when I go 4 holidays, I ask my friend to take care. Even that, they see her they faster run in the cage n don’t want to pee/poo. Coz don’t know her well enuff. She doesn’t stay with me, so they probably don’t know y she is in the house without me. But if it’s my housemate, then they r ok. But my housemate also gila one. Make my girl runaway n think it’s entertaining coz she knows how to come back. I faster rush back, my blood pressure almost burst!

Shalmay, this groomer so bad customer service one ar? Know u so upset, never offer solution. Only talk 3 talk 4. When I took my girls grooming somewhere near my house, the grooming so lousy, my poodle head out of shape n then got some red rashes from the blunt shaver. I was upset but the groomer knew how to "pujuk" me. Faster give me free ointment, free doggie treats, never argue with me. Faster say sorry to my doggie. "Customer is always right"

mickey123, I think some breed of doggies are very prone to swelling in their paw. I know my friends' Schnauzer and Sheltie always get this swelling. It looks like n insect bite then it swells up like puss. But then again, my friends keep them in the cage most of the time. Maybe it’s from the cage.

"sorry" this word ar... got.. when i went to her shop complainted.. she still told lies.. after 2 hours talked, then only got "sorry"..

luckily my best friend found the scars/wounds on my dog when took my dog from the groomer, and told me that with photos(me at oversea).. if not.. the groomer thought can say 'byebye' goyang goyang and settled.. the groomer thought i will never know it.. Mad

im not just as a customer with the groomer, im her friend for 2 years already.. but she still can lies on friend.. i'm so disappointed..

my best friend is very sayang my dog.. she took my dog out for 2 times a day, feed him enough, plays time with him, accompany him, clean my house, i'm worry free with her love services..

my dog have to take 3 weeks medicine and bath 2 times a week with medical shampoo now.. especially need to swallow many medicine everyday.. he is so painful..

it's ok to have one less of such friend i.e. the groomer.

great to hear that your best friend get along well with your dog and can take care of your dog when you're away...be patient till your dog is fully recovered. Smile

hmm.. just make sure ur dog's conditions before send for boarding.. better take some photos as prove.. but, of course i hope ur friend can take good care on ur dog.. not like my case..

if can, try ask ur family/friends visit ur dog often..

for my case.. because i trusted the groomer, so never asked my family/friends to make a visit.. until the day home, he was totally tortured there.. that's too late..

hope u have a worry free travel ya.. Wink

hehe... it okay... just here to remind that caring, nice, non-profitmakers and great groomerS are still exist... if my friend is still here in malaysia, i will recommend her to you... guaranteed and definitely no problem... hahaha... she used to be a rescuer and a groomer in malaysia... last time, she used to give FREE grooming for those dogs that are being rescued...

make sure this will never happen again... your baby must be suffering... sure miss you a lot... next time have to becareful when choosing a groomer lor... cause you never know who is actually sincere to you... hope your baby can recover soon and stay healthy always...

try to mix it with his favourite food... don't let him see you put the medicine in it... once they know it, they wouldn't eat it already...
