Hi, I am a new member. I'm going to have a chihuahua mix maltese toy dog soon! and I got my friends poodle X that stays with me from time to time. I almost had a maltese mix shitzu but my landlord wont allow me to keep it. SO im trying to sneak in something smaller...like a chihuahua mix maltese...lol ( half the width of the keyboard)

I have alot of dogs before in my life, bulldog, rockwyler, german sheppards, dalmatian, pug, and (my small sis has a silky terrier with her now ). I like short haired dogs mostly..i think its a boy thing...and small tiny ones too...

p/s - coundt find the create new thread so i had to reply to u..l0l

Please don't mind my asking here as I don't have yoru eml addies. I'm planning to go to Penang for a very short holiday in Dec (7th-9th). Am thinking of bringing my 2 puggies with us (we're 2 gals, the other is Singapore Baby the chihuahua's mom) but first have to find accommodation that will take them. Have you any idea?

Also, from Penang we plan to drive down to Camerons & spend another 3 days (9th-11th). Also looking for place to take the babies.

If cannot find any place anywhre, thn will have to forget the idea of bringing them along & we'll just go on our own & will definitely catch up wth Penang lang esp the chihuahua owners Smile

oh tht wl be very good if you can check wth the hotel on my behalf (we are 2 adults & 2 pugs). the dates would be,

IN: 9th Dec (Tues)
OUT: 11th Dec (Thrs)
Total: 2 nites

I don't mind bringin my own bedsheets, etc.

depend on how quality the dog u require. Generally an ordinary smooth coat chihuahua range from RM700 above and long coat chihuahua range RM1000 above. Average of the price mayb RM1000 for smooth coat Chi and RM1500 for long coat..... again... it depends on the quality of the dog... hope this info help!!!!

Hi guys! So nice to hear that all of you have a chihuahua. I own a chihuahua, Pansy, too but not anymore now. Frown

She passed a way few weeks ago. That's a great lost to me and my family. :( No idea what's the reason. ANyway, the saddest of all is my grandma. Pansy is my grandma's companion. She treats her like her daughter too.

Well, just hope that she'll rest in peace. ANyway, my grandma's birthday is round the corner. Me n my cousins thought of surprising her by getting her a new chihuahua as a birthday gift. Her birthday is in May.

Would very much appreciate if anyone of you can let me know where can i find one chihuahua puppy for her.

I'm a new mommy of a short coat, female, light brown chi..her name is Lolita Laugh

she's goin to be 2mths on the 13th/3...she's so cute, sumtimes i feel like i wanted to bite her hahaha Sly

she's my 1st toy dog ( when i was young, i used to have a lots of those big & huge dogs around the hse which bite ppls & supposedly to guard our hse from thieves..haha Unimpressed

) i'm still new so if anything u guys - 'the chihuahua master' wanted to share their..ahem! knowledge & experience of raising a Chi to me, plz do go ahead and dont be shy... Blush

hahaha... oh ya, i got a question to ask to all of the chi 'sifu' s out there, izzit ok to let ur chi sleep in an aircond room?, coz i let my baby sleep with in my room Unsure

, and i darn hot in the middle of the nite, so i had to switch on the aircond l, cant tahan la..i gave her a big blanket though, but she always like to sleep on top of the blanket curling like a fetus position, so i kena wake up a few times in one nite juz to check her up and help to cover her whole body wit the blanket everytime...aiya, penat also la me Pirate

i'm not a wawa sifu but just here for sharing.my CHHs also sleep with us in the aircond room.and it seems ok so far.what i normally do is i'll put on a shirt on my short coat chh coz got people said that short coat one cant tahan cool than long coat chh.(chh tends to shiver a lot coz their body tends to lose heat very easily).

like u,i always wake up middle in the nite, checking if he sleeps well or not.or cover him with a blanket.(they are like our sons & daughters).but then he came out of the blanket and sleeps on top of it,curling like a fetus position as u described in ur post.or i'll let the door open a bit with the door stopper.whenever he feel cool, he'll go out and sleeps on his another bed in the family area.
