It was really a surprise to see the cover of Star Metro today with the cover of Le Ron & Enzo hugging each another ! It was really a memorable day for Terry, Mocha & me.

Mr Khoo, thanks for having this great website for all the doggie lovers if not for you, we won't be able to meet and get to know each another and make more friends in the same time.

Gina, thanks for organising this event.

First of all, congrats to Khoo & Mrs Khoo, today we must mark down in our calendar, puppycom got it first publicity in The Star paper and hope from now on, we make this happen every month ok ? Like few a day or 2 after the gathering, we should expecting something from Metro or other newspaper.

Hi all!
My friend told me about the article and I am sure it gives other people a better impression of dogs. I tried convincing my friends to come but everyone is afraid of dogs. Perhaps they think that all dogs are vicious and they bark and bite. *shrug
Congrats for all the hardwork and effort. It sure pay off!
I am telling everyone about it in my company. They all love dogs but afraid to go near one.

Hopefully CD Moo can finalise the new location and be the organizer of the gathering in possibly third week of July after the dogathon. Let wait for the good news. CD still has a lot of reserve and there are more to come.

Looks like we're having gatherings on a more regular basis which is GOOD!! Smile

I'm glad I have a place to take Sparkle to, so he can socialise from young.

If only the trail at Kiara is still opened to doggies. I can just imagine the fun of 100 odd members and 60 odd muddy and panting doggies going on the trail!! Laugh

Seriously, I have yet to discover one.. but hope soon.. I heard of one..but no time to drive there & explore. To be catogorised as 'paradise'..., in my opinion, has to fullfill the followings:

1. a place that can offleash the dogs

2. shady

3. lake/river (I may be selfish.. this is for labby Wink

)

4. no 'signboard'

It'll be good if we can find an alternate place to hold our gatherings, for back up purposes...we've seen what happened to Kiara Hill recently, touch wood it cud happen to KK as well....u'll never know right...so the more places we can find the better....at least if we are restricted to one we can always hv other alternatives.

Unless the newspaper sends reporters to cover the event or we send a post event press release to the papers, the event will usually not get covered. And to atttract media attention, it should be something new or interesting to cover. So to get us featured in the papers every month, we should always come up with new creative things Cool

My taman desa park here fulfills all the criteria except for the lake. But there's a HUGE (and I mean REALLY REALLY HUGE) lake next to Desa Water Park and it's shaded by tons of trees. I'll go there and scout one of these days. That one got all the criteria except it's a bit secluded...maybe CD Moo may want to come over to have a look sometimes. Sly

Another thing I shud say that I am very happy to be member of this forum, it's not only a get together, to know each other, the good things are our doggies also has the chance to get together, socializing and have fun, birthday celebration and solving problems arises, experiencing others doggies' problems ... their behaviour ...barking at stranger, exchage ideas and so on.....Also it is very convenience to order on-line for dog foods, accesories, grooming products etc.

Here's Another Step Towards A Better Tomorrow (as Boon always quoted) Heeheeeheee!!!

Hope to see U all at the next exciting A-Party (15/06/03) again.

Thanks! It was a surprise for me too, never expected it. Even the picture taken with Ron facing the camera as though he knows he is on the "Candid Camera" and Boffie's "AiShare Man" ... backside facing the camera, even his backside already looked so smart.

Hehe... yeah definitely I must! Miss you guys. Brinkley has grown so huge now compared to Luckey... as for Luckey's hairdo... it's like semi punk... not so wild like last time, but it has started to grow back so she is looking less & less like a show dog and more like a rock star!

Looks like Luckey wont be attending the pre-novice mock trial after missing so many classes. Luckey and Winter class will be having it this Sat I was told and the CGC will be on Sunday.

heheh... yeah i feel so bad missing so many lessons... don't think I will embarass Luckey by making her take the trial when she didnt do all the lessons, but was wondering if I should take Birnkley for her CGC since she is pretty obedient and can do all the basics... (she also missed most her lessons) Crazy

Horse season is going OK - major shows haven't started yet but my other horse has recently come back into work (after a long break following his chip removal op) so now I need to find the time to ride 2 horses, and that usually only happens at weekends, coz weekdays i can't coz of work.

Will def. try to be there at the next gathering. Where is the next gathering and when? Also trying to make it to the Dogathon if we can get back from Kuching.

Will you be there at the Padang this weekend?
