Yeah yeah, They do give me samples too

... Scooby is having royal canin, so Goofy also eat it on weekends. Origen, I see he don't like much..

Goofy is different compare to Sasha then.. Coz you will get to know the 1st time you give him the kibbles, whether he love or not. He is not that kind like 'tam sen sin'... If I give him new kibbles, I'll just take one out, he'll sniff sniff 1st. Then lick it, then try to put in mouth. If he don't like it, he throw it out immediately. No matter how many time tried also same. Even if I tried again few days after, also same.

I give you his list of kibbles interest. Just for laugh la..not judging food la..

1) Canidae ~ By the reaction I see feeding him different kibbles.. He accept it immediately.
2) Science Plan ~ He finish his kibbles real fast with this.
3) Innova ~ His recent one. Still ok. Never reject.
4) Royal Canin ~ He would even finish Scooby's leftover. But not always. Sometimes, he reject, till I add in milk.
5) NutriEdge ~ The time adopt him, my friend intro this.. He eat real less. Till I give him Science Plan (his previous owner fed him this), he sapu everything in.
6) Origen ~ He sniff it, lick it, put into mouth, throw out, in again, then bite into pieces, throw out, then take in again.
7) Solid Gold ~ He sniff it, lick it, put into mouth, throw back out. Dun wanna eat till really hungry till beh tahan. So only eat one meal per day at that time.
8) California Natural ~ Sniff, lick, turn away.
9) Pedigree ~ Sniff, turn away!!

easier for u then coz u can judge whether goofy likes it or not from the first try....sasha very 'tham san sin'...so i cant judge from the first time...coz usually if i feed her for the first time, she will sapu wan...i hv to see her reaction after the 3rd time at least...then will know d whether she really like or not...but when it comes to kibbles, she's always the last one to finish her meal...

but when i feed her with home cooked food, she is the CHAMPION! sapu everything n try to sapu others oso Unsure

Wow Lily, u definately have tried many dog food brands on Goofy..will this make our furkid to be more picky on their kibbles ah ? Im currently feeding Nana NutriEdge - Lamb n Rice, she seems ok with it, yet some days it will take her a while to finish her food one lor..she will like run around for a while then only eat her food and since she is teething now, i soak her kibbles with water to soften it for her..

I read somewhere that changing food is not good for their stomach ah n tend to make them a picky eater ? Or as long as we gradually changing their dog food is ok ? Me and my BF kinda prefer Holistic food lor..so if the NutriEdge has worms again, am planning to change to Eagle Pack Holistic Select..can share with Jessica some more..

..nolah...Just joking. Yes, home cooked food wins all. I don't dare to home cook for him in hometown. Coz if I homecook for him, of coz for Scooby also ma.. That king very very lcly..If once he tasted homecook, I think he won't EVER touch kibbles!!! He is a real stubborn. He rather sick to reject his kibbles la!!! And somemore if Scooby ever try so many kibbles like Goofy, he'll go more more more picky!! Fortunately, Goofy guai guai..

Some of it I tried with samples I got ma.. At first also I scared him picky, but he don't, he never go stubborn and picky. So..easy for me to try which kibbles he like lor...He never stubborn till don't eat, unless, if I crate him with his meal inside, he rather vomit his yellow liquid also he won't eat. He don't like to be crate ma.. Yes, I also hope to change holistic kibbles for him coz everyone saying good bout it, but in case this time, Canidae don't work well with him, I'll change back to Science Plan and won't change anymore..coz actually Science Plan is doing good for him. Just that I wanna tried to give him holistic kibbles ma.. No matter how he don't like the kibbles, he'll eat it when he is real hungry, just that I want him eat happy ma, so I change till he satisfy lor..am I

? hehehe... For the time being, I see he love Canidae when I 1st intro it to him. Hope the kibbles do well to his body lo, so that I can stick with this brand.

hehehehe..yeah yeah...once they tasted home cooked food...very difficult for them to like kibbles d...but i'l still feed my gals kibbles in the morning..coz need to work ma..no time to cook...so it's either they eat it or starve till dinner...

as for dinner, i'l cook for them lo...sometimes mix with kibbles, rice or macaroni...

yup...agree with you...same here...i would like them to eat happily too instead of for the sake of eating....so if they are happy, i'l b happy too...so nowadays, i started to go n buy meat & vege and cook for them...something that i never did in WHOLE MY LIFE!!! hahahhahhahaa...even my sis n mum complained that i never cook for them Blush

...what to do...they are my gals ma!

I cook for Goofy when he did something real guai guai or after bath lo, so that the home cook food is special to him ma

.. I love to cook actually, so, cooking for him is not a problem... but one thing I can't control laughing is you said your sis and mum complaining that you didn't cook for them...bcoz I'm thinking the funny way u can answer them... You can tell them: "I only know how to cook dog food wor, what if I cook more for you lor? Delicious also ma, if not why 3 of them love it so much?" ...by then everytime you cook for the gals, ask if both of them wan a part of it.. hahaha Laugh

back to the topic then, Jess, the magazine I've said I will send you, I'll send to you next week k? As for the local magazine (Pets), I could only give you the latest one. My mum had sold the few previous one together with her old newspapers. Crazy

hey, sorry for being late bout the books...

Goofy is ok for the time being,.. Called up the vet, the vet said can eat back the medicine, and if possible, get some multivit for him wor.. then these few days have to eat more eggs lor, morning one, night one lor, and this make Goofy really happy lor.. hehehe..then I did add also few pieces of the Salmon treat bought from the buddy pet wagon for him lor, high protein ma.. yesterday night and this morning, I see the spots fading lor... Really dunno wat to call this thing, not rashes and not spots.. It is actually bleeding under skin.. Very takut he'll get hurt these few days.. Will lead to non stop bleeding ler.. Unsure

Vet also dunno wat the cause. Just understand that Goofy's blood is lack of some kind of vitamin and mineral lor..have to feed him with multivit wor.. but anyway, most probably I'll bring him to the vet this weekend and do a blood test and see what can be done lo...yalar..till now he already jumping and turning non stop once he see I hold an egg and walk to the stove..

i mashed the hard boiled egg and give the whole egg lo, the vet said whole egg ma. Last time I heard that don't give egg yolk to doggies, too much very high colesterol if I'm not mistaken. But then Goofy special case ma, he need more eggs ma.. I asked the vet, how many eggs is too much for a dog per day.. He said, no problem ler..

as for me, i only give egg white...i think goofy is special case..so ok lo...vet used to advise me to give them egg white once a while to clear the stomach...i half boil the egg...

yalor i remember reading dont give egg yolk, only give egg whites..never tried that before yet..

Hmm should try it hor since Vet says can help to clear their stomach..i only give yogurt to Nana..

Jess, btw ive tried using conditioner on Nana liao, really makes a difference lor, her coat is much smoother one..

oh issit? mayb she is confused coz we have the same name...hehehe..n both oso got poodle...hahahahha Wink

yup...my gals love the half boil egg white..mayb one fine day, i'l hardboiled it...but i don give too often oso lo...coz i read from somewhere the egg white got something which is not so good if given too often...

n sometimes i rotate with yogurt as well...at least something diff lo...

oh..what conditioner are u using for nana? yup...i agree...coat is smoother with conditioner...

the new pet shop that i went to (Petz Saloon) used biogroom for all dogs that go for grooming. n i bought a shampoo from her called Proline. she said it's imported from US and she uses it for all her show dog...but costly la...cost me RM65. but i still buy 1 to try lo...well..i would say the smell can last for a few days n at the end of the week, although they don hv that shampoo smell d, but at least they don stink too

Err used human conditioner on Nana..think its Palmolive.

Dont think i would be going to the agility competition this weekend liao. Need to fix my home PC, maybe the next round, i saw yesterday Star newspaper got highlight the event lor..
