German Shepherd/Alsation Can't Post

I am a great fan of GSD and my familly used to have one when I was little and she was a very obedient and good GSD. Now i'm thinking to get a puppy GSD and wonder how much will it cost, I heard frm my friends that a pup GSD will cost around rm1k or above depends on breed, well my budget is around rm1k and I hope you guys can tell me where is the best source to look for GSD pups. And I am a bit confuse of the GSD breed cos I see some GSD are quite large but some are much smaller, for me i prefer a large one..:)

Hey Fever,

I do noe of some breeders who currently have pups..

BUT...i'm not sure if they are within your budget? They are out of popular German working lines...care to give a try? These dogs have a solid temperament & can b used for protection. Smile If you are serious,maybe smth can be arranged to benefit both parties.

That being said..a world class pedigree is not worth much if the handler/trainer is not so. The dog is only as good as his handler...in this case...not very good Tongue The handler is making more mistakes than the dog.

Hi Crispin,

Welcome to the forum. The price of GSD puppies can range from 1000( from a BYB or of low quality-with more health probs) to abt 4500+ (from reknown bloodlines and higher quality)

hey guys...i'm new to the forum and i need some expert's advice. I have this german shepherd pup already with it's ears standing up and nice. But recently, it's left ear started to fall inwards onto it's right ear. Can anyone let me know if this is normal or is the ear damaged? The pup is about 4 1/2 months old. Apprecriate alot if anyone can give me some advice on this. Cheers

Re: [leongkeat] German Shepherd/Alsation [In reply to] Can't Post

all gsd can guard house. rest assured. dont expect to buy a workingline gsd that will bite intruder when it is never train. same thing with showline. i think many people are ~misinformed~ about this breed. working line are mostly trained for sports in germany. like sch and such. working line gsd are not like the 'pitbull' that many hope can elevated your current status to being macho man. they have the required drive to perform their duties so they are selected for certain sport but many thousand of hours training are involved. if not you will just have a high drive workingline that will drive you crazy.

just my humble opinion

wow, i think it is going to be really difficult to find a good young adult. no one would be willing to part with their gsd. and for one to sell now there could be some problems like nerve, temperement or even sick dog. just be careful and take your time. the right one will come.

Hi;

How old is your bitch? I have a male GSD approximately 35 months old. He is a large male with beautiful black & gold coat. His Sire is SG20 in Germany in 2004. Both parents are imported from Germany. He is well trained and is of good temperament. My GSD won the Best Malaysian Bred GSD in the recent MKA Shows (June 2008).

If you are interested and serious about it, you can contact me at either danielwoo8@yahoo.com or 019-2353168.
