Tyler and I might go and have a look too...although I haven't exactly asked him...kekekeke.. Anyway, what time does it start and end?
We can't show the dogs we're having now but since we joined this forum, like Tyler always say, we're really developing a new level lof appreciation for dogs! Who knows...maybe in a few years time, with more exposure and experience...we just might be ready to actually take our interest in dogs a step further! Will need a lot of advice and tips from all u sifus!

Hi Michelle, Good to know that ur taking an interest in the show ring and going to the show to get a first hand knowledge is the right step. To me its a sport and an opportunity to have a family outing with the dogs on show day. All my kids handle the dogs in competition and I noticed it helps build confidence and character. Like all sports it has its ups and down. If u win u'll feel good if u dont u'll have a long list of......jjk seriously, there is the next show to look forward to. Another thing abt showing dogs....its very addictive and if u dont mind ppl saying 'seow-wan' waking up so early and drive to Penang or JB just to show the dogs..crazy then its ok. Like I say its addictive (ask Khoo/Arthur/Jennifer and others) and I dont know how long I'll be at it. but it does have its reward.
Anyway I can tell u more when I see u and Mary Tyler Mooreat the coming show at Selayang Mall. The show starts at 9.00 (but dont count on it to be punctual) and ends according to how fast the judges do their work. Cheers

hehe...I know this is addictive...already Tyler and I are starting to feel addicted to dogs. We talk about dogs SOOOOO much more these days and to anyone we see! Even our parents are like "you two siao already ah?" cause we keep telling them "did you know u can feed RAW chicken to the dogs??" or "don't even go to the pet shop in Petaling Street...let us tell u how they can get distemper" or "Mr Khoo said you can get distemper even 1km away" hahahaha!
Anyway, this will be our first time so...the beginning of another bigger addiction for these 4 legged babies!

Hi Ming Yang and rest,
This coming dog show will be held inside the badmintion courts located right at the top floor (5th) of Selayang Mall. Last year, the rented some industrial fans with water spray to help cool down the enviroment inside.
Nevertheless, Jason is right. It will be a bit warm and maybe stuffy inside. So to all the ladies and S.Y.T's there, better wear your spagetti straps blouses!

Hi pinkie,
Usually the show will be over before 6 pm but then again it depends on how fast the judge does his job and also the no. of entries. I think you should be able to make it for your tuition. Ha!!! study study study

Derrick, SPG stands for Sarong Party Girl. My S'porean flatmates used to use this term a lot apparently to refer to Asian girls who take a liking to the 'gwai lo' for flings. Most of the time just because they are gwai lo. (no offense to anyone here but I'm just replying as a matter of fact as explained by my Sporean friends)
Arthur, must ask Mr Khoo to print puppycom Pagoda T-shirts for u guys to wear leh....it's ok, even if you turn up in one of Sharon's spaghetti strap top we promise we won't laugh too long!!! But wah...spaghetti strap tops, minyak angin...sounds like quite an edventure!

Hey you guys.. Michelle, Ming Yang, Gina and especially Boon!
What was the plan: To get the girls in this forum to wear spagetti tops for the dog show.
How to achieve this: Be very liberal with comments on how warm it will be..thus reason to wear spagetti tops. So girls wear spagetti tops, men wear pagoda brand t-shirts.
What actually transpired: Plan was going well until Boon highlighted in red a passage from Michelle's post to me...giving the wrong impression that I will be wearing the spagetti top instead! <hand slapping on forehead> Rest of the forum gang suddenly woke up and took noticed!
Damage control: Explain everything, make it clear that Arthur will NOT be doing any such thing.
Salvage plans: State for the record that Girls wear spagett tops, Guys wear Pagoda brand T-shirts. After this hope for the best...
Boon: Ai yah you..now everyone know my plans already lor!
