Hi All,

Thinking of another outing during 1st May 2003, so guess what, no holiday for fur parents, ok Tongue

?

Propose activity - Swimming with ur belove furkids in one of the waterfall available in Penang State.

Date : 1st May 2003

Time : 10 AM - 5 PM (try to make it a day event)

Venue : Any Waterfall that is easily accessible by us and open for suggestion

Steven aka Kinzuno : pls help to find a waterfal ah ok ? Wink

Ashley, Ai Lin, Eve aka 777, Lisa aka 747 : can do some sandwiches, and others light and easy food ?

Eric, Steven, Foo, Soon, and of coz me lah - do nothing hahahhhahahhah, just go and eat the food prepare by them.

Trivor, Eliza, Pat, anyone that i miss out ? Anything that u forks need to add ?

Khoo : will u be in Penang ? All penang lang here really home u a CEO of this forum can join us for at least one lah................

wah....u penang lang really lucky la...got waterfall...beach.....

the furkids in KL area all not so lucky. Have to make do with jungle treks, grass and tar road. Crazy

To think of waterfall as a venue is very nice but most of the waterfall in penang will be full of malays which are quite scared of dogs netherless a whole bunch of doggies ..PLUS BONNEY Sly

The one in youth park is out..

Botanical garden also out..

near my place, aiyar..its not consider waterfall also,

forest reserve area, dogs not allowed,

the one near mutiara hotel, lots of malays...

I think I am bringing Sasa to Butterworth coming May first. (see member introduction's forum for more details) Maybe i can join you if i start my journey very early, say 3 or 4 am, or join the bukit kiara gathering before i go to Butterworth. hhmmm... which is better ah? by the way, both gathering is not fix yet rite? only got 3 more days, do you think it mite be cancel?

eh... Sasa is sick leh. car sick, food poisoning... i also dunno which is which. now, my sis is bringing him to the doc. do you think he can go to butterwort coming thursday? even on a dose of drug that make him sleep along the way?

HI Ashley,

Junjung waterfall is obvious near Junjung. The way to go is to travel to Bukit Mertajam and head for direction of Kulim. On the way to Kulim, there are two turning that will lead you to Junjung, one is shortly after the Macang Bubuk turning and the other one is several KM down the road where both you have to turn right.

Second way is go there via Simpang Ampat. Tavel along NS Express and exit using Tambun Exit and go toward Simpang Ampat. At Simpang Ampat, turn right to go to Tasek and go until the end of road where you will come to a T Junction to turn left. Follow the road and you will come to Junjung.

So have funs on May 1.

R u sure we can go Junjung waterfall with my our dog? that place is crowded by malays all the time.... Junjung is malay kampung ler.... afraid travel far far liao then they "Halau" us out pulak. All:

my big boss (MD)'s birthday is on 1st May, his wife is planning a surprise b'day party for him..... still planning my schedule, so cant confirm my participation for the junjung gathering yet.... thousand apologies.

Hi Boon,

I frequent that waterfall during primary school days some 30 years back when the waterfall is still not developed.

I will create a category for you at Photo Gallery and make sure you take a lot of quality photo this time.

The Junjung is in a area with lot of Malays and make all keep their on on leash and clean up after your dog. You need to be there early to book the place.

I can't confirm yet because of transport & also direction. not really familiar with the direction. later i end up missing somewhere else. somemore my guinea pig just died last night. something bite on the leg. i did not manage to take her to see the doctor. Frown

. This is the second guinea pig died within three months. but i still have one guinea pig at home. he will sure be lonely without his partner. Frown

May 1 is afterall a holiday for all. Both KL and Pg events have to be called off for different reason.

Next meet shall be May 14, 2003 in KK. Hope to see more Penang Lang in KK.

I'm up in Penang now. Well since you are busy these few days...then better not kacau you lar. I was hoping that the gathering will be up so that I could also meet up with the gang since I have never met any of you before.

i agree with u to have another waterfall gathering some other time.... i suggest we confirm the time as early as possible so that every 1 here can plan their schedule. then we got no reason for not going liao....... including me haha.

anyway 14-15/5, i will be going back to my hometown Kuala terengganu, so......wont be in penang lor...i will be lying on the MOMOCHA beach (Redang island), singing MOMOCHA song.... yeah!!!
