heh , that fella on my avatar is an avatar . I just think it's cute but dumb face , it's a boston terrier by the way . dont get me wrong , fala is stilll my first priority , she is already part of my family , even my mom never likes dogs ..she plays with fala every night and fala likes my parents alot .

Yeah, you tell that to her lah, hahahahhahahahah! Gawd! I'm so-o miss out at the Dog Olympic. I wish you can see my furkids in life. You gotta adore Kookee coz she's real chubby-chub-chub. And I'm sure they are going to get along just fine with Fala.

But lucky, coz they would be holidaying too as we do our holidaying part. The dog nanny is costing a bomb, however. What's up with Chuck? He seems to be MIA all of a sudden also.

Yeah, he's so-o bz with his lawn that he's probably buried in it (nasty! nasty!). Well, that especially since we thought of camping out at his lawn and hopefully that happen once he de-buried himself. I just hope he doesn't pull a Grace on us...

Kiddies are going for summer camp at Mamadog, Lennie's place. You know who's she, right? Her charges are quite on the high side especially as we have two babes, so-o everything X2. She charges RM35 per day per dog and extras for pick-ups and drop-offs. On top, she would also insist that you were to get her herbal flea collar at RM24 a piece. So, overall, the whole boarding and nanny-ing services cost us around RM450 for 5 days. Well never mind lor....coz a peace of mind is important to us as much as the furkiddies welfare. We have used Lennie's service before and it's not too bad lah, I supposed. You have any recommendation?

Well, Lennie offers a boarding service under the name of M.a.m.a.d.o.g. The plus point of her service is her cage-free boarding concept where the furkids are allowed to run freely and sleep in rooms. The boarding facilities in fact is Lennie's own house. Google her up and you would find her. Remember, instead of ending with .com, put in t.k instead. (Minus out all the full stops)

Yeah, she's on the high side, not including surcharges for eve and public hols. On top, we have to bring our own food etc. But since with Kookee's problem, we are fine with that arrangement. Anyone out there has any recommendations? We don't dare to simply switch coz she's familiar with the kiddies and that the kiddies also ok with her.

hello , sorry lor friend , you tumpang me then you have to pay me commission ler .

Anyway , before I got my fala, I was actually on my way to get a black lab . the black lab puppies look real good with huge paws and innocent puppy dropping eyes but now they are probably 6 to 7 months old , females only . I have seen the mother , very good temperament didnt manage to catch the father but the big sturdy buddy from the same litter to the father , i can tell it's very well-cared and lots of exercise hence the mascular body . i dont know whether this young couple are breeding any lab now , maybe i can give them a ring , the location is Seremban . they were asking for RM600 , with cert .

hey simchi. thanks, that would be swell. i'll let my friend know. do you have any labradors? what's the diff between a black and yellow lab? (besides the colour of course) coz my frined insists on looking for a black one. just curious.

I wanted a black lab , but my sisters insist on a yellow one , because they generally LOOK more visible , the features and all . when you snap a picture of a black one , you dont see anything but just BLACK . but i dont really mind the colour as long as it's a lab . as for as temperament is concerned , they are all the same . (I READ THIS FROM MY LAB BOOK--- black lab tends to get heatstrokes) . very worth having this breed :)

I didnt have one from the same litter , I booked one when they were 6 weeks old , but later I(actually the sisters) changed my mind and got myself a yellow lab(my fala) instead . If the litter is still available then they're probably 6 months old , but I am uncertain here whether they have a new litter or not ( they have a couples of Labradors , and the dam is a chocolate colour , what a colour to die for )

Hello KG , yes Fala is my lab . I know very little about BARF diet , someone once tried to explain it to me , but I think I'll just stick to the kibbles . raw meat , no , raw bones , no , chicken necks , no ..the reason being I know nuts about it and its outcome so I stay with the normal dog kibbles .

anyway do you need me to give my vet a ring regarding the black lab your friend is looking for ? and is that avatar your staff ?

Yup i know nothing re BARF too but am reading and asking (if not outright irritating the pros -unintetionally- in the forum Wink

yeah my friend is interested in a black labrador OR a chocolate one. I'd appreciate it if you could get in touch with your vet or friend. RM600 is pretty reasonable. Certification is not an issue. thanks.

I can't remember who asked re my avatar. Anyway the staffie in my avatar is not my doggie. I "borrowed" this picture from the net... till my puppy is ready. A staffie too.

Too bad Kookee kena spayed liao..if i were to join the forum much earlier then I can stop you from doing that. Let her and Hugo ehem one time first hahaha.
Btw, no more choc for Hugo. Thanks for telling.

Anyway, back to what you guys have posted earlier. Someone mentioned that the dog food with too much protein will cause the dog to shed?
Is that true?
Cos Hugo is shedding badly. At first I thought it was because I bathe him too frequently. I stopped that thinking that the shedding will too but it didnt.
Should I get him adult formulas instead of those for puppies? Adult ones got less protein, and its cheaper! haha

Whos going to the dog olympics this Sunday?
I will be bringing Hugo there, nvm about thte 3rd jab =)
