hello all....nice to know you all.... I have one male peke by the name of chew chew (ball)..18months old..used to look like a fur ball but the longer his fur go...sigh... my peke only get excited by 2 things...food and a monster foot print indoor slipper.

Hey there, welcome to the forum. Its been a while that we have new member coming in. Your peke look great,especially its a tri color. I'm looking for any rare color for peke. Actually looking for a full black peke or black and white parti color, but encountering them is nothing easy. Hehe. I have a peke boy too, he is going to celebrate his bday coming soon. Turning 2 next month.

hai, it great to know other who own pek...I like ur too.. the fur seem so fluffy and soft. My pek fur doesn't go fluffy eventhough he has a very thick coat. the only place that can be count as fluffy is the tail ..hahaha...can i ask you something? Does your pek greet you whenever u came home and come to you whenever u call? Mine don't..

he is very......how u say ah..it like he has a mind of his own and do what please him only, answer your call whenever he want ONLY.(which not much) act very much like he is the owner instead of me to him..(very much the character of a cat). But, then occasional, he will start showing some brief affection toward me and my sis just to quench our thirt and grow distant again...

me and my sister kinda give up on him already...now when we want a hug from him we just pull him to us no matter whether he want or not. But we still love him a lot and like to tease him with titbit until he bark and complain.

My pek also have a very unique bark...my groomer say like a baby learning to talk..Does all pek sound like that?

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your pek first

Hihi. i had a peke too, he is a fawn pekingese. His name is hugo boss. Nice to meet all pekingese lover!

Hugo is very affectionate to me. He will greet me everytime i came back home. He's very attached to me and he has only me in his mind.

He is turning a yr old next mth!

He have this very loving attitude at the same time a little cat-like minded la. When u have tidbit,he will come chase after u.hahaha.

Lately, i've been busy with my work and doesn't have enuf time for him. Everytime i let him out from the cage..he will come to me and

manja manja de. Very pamper la. I have to say pekingese is a one man breed , coz he will only foloow me around not to my other house mates.

Where r u from?? Dunno whther we can meet and let our pekes to social more...haha

Ru aware thta on august the 10th there is a dogathon happening at ...ermm..um or upm..can't recall...

Hi to all,

Yes, so sorry that the dogathon is fall on sunday...I will be there too. That is the place I get to know some of my friends and now became good friends.

My Pek has same character as yours, never greet us when we coem home, just lying on the floor showing hsi anger as we did not brign him out.

My female Pek AYAKO is a hyperactive, only interested in FOOD. never smell and straight away swallow. But Jiro is totally the opposite, he will smell and analyse then only he take.

Some tiems both of them hiding under sofa, when we open the door, they still continue to sleep. A couple of tirm we thought they were stoelen and we start to shout out loud,then they walk out slowly.. Pirate

almost caused me a heart attack.

Both of my Pek enjoy jungle trekking too, we used to go Gasing Hill to walkmthey loves the stream and alsyws soak themselves in the water liek enjoying (onsen) team bath.

I've been thinking of getting another one peke juz to accompany my lonely peke now..

but haven't encounter the right one yet. and i can see you have one peke that had really long coat... any tips for keeping their glamorous coat beautiful...I'm trying to keep my peke's coat long but its seems to be very slow moving process. ..

maybe u can sms me and we discuss it over there.

Hi, Thanks for your compliment. I have only one furby at home.....the very precious one. A manja baby but can be very stubborn sometimes. Initially I was also thinking of getting another peke but change my mine. I dun own a car so getting around with two furby will be a problem.

My boy is now 2 year plus. I think he also went thru a phase where his coat just won't grow long no matter what I fed him. It only started growing longer when he was 1 year plus. But I must say that his coat is thick all this while. So far I have trim his coat twice but I intend to keep it long from now on though electricity bill can kill me (he has to be in aircon room). Tips wise, honestly I dun have any secret to share. But I used to feed him flaxseed oil. But recently, his digestion is not very good so I stop it. I spent about an hour a day to groom him.

I have heard from a friend that Meramin can make their coat grow thicker. But I personally haven't tried that.

Thanks for sharing those info with me. I'll see what can i do to make his coat get longer and faster. Hehe.

I brought my peke to a pet shop yesterday just to trim the nails and those extra fur underneath the paws. It ended up a nightmare for both of my peke and me. I was so so so disappointed with the groomer. My peke ended up bleeding at the one of the front and back paws. And dun mention the coat, she is keep combing his coat till clutches of fur fell off.... my god...my eyes went big. Ended up, the petshop is not charging me but my fluffy peke is not fluffy anymore plus the bleeding paws.

Oh dear, it must be painful. Poor baby. My boy also had the same experience when he was younger. Now I only bring him to a good groomer for grooming. And I make sure I stay and watch thru'out the whole session.

Dun worry about the fur, it will grow back. Just love him more and make sure he will not be traumatised again in future.

Hello all...need some advice here. I have a 1 year old Pek - Fluffy, now thinking to get another pup to be his companion. I am thinking of getting a smaller dog - chihuahua so that Fluffy don't get bully by the new pup. What do you guys think? did any of your pek having problems mixing around with other breed????

i got a new pekingese as my poodle friend today, but then i found out his eyes very dry and dirty, dont know wat happen. the breeder told me it's very healthy. he looks blur blur one. poo-ing on my car, thought he get shocked, but i still can see he is shaking his tail happily. he still go and sat on the ** and then climb to my car cushio, OMG....damn tire la, whole day. THEＢＩＧＧＥｓｔPROBLEM, MY POODLE SCARE OF HIM untill shaking....and gimme the eyes of pity and asking me to let him out......aikx~~~~

..... don't panic.....ur poodle just not use to the puppy yet. The day i got my second pek nini, she chase chew chew ( my first pek) all around house. Quite a sight to see seeing a tiny puppy chasing him to a corner and running all over the house to aviod her. Then we put nini in a cage and let him get close to her by itself. after awhile,..he got use to it and get closer to see nini for himself.

But... regarding the eyes and all, you better bring it to a vet to see and do a check up just for sure. ( even when you bought it from a breeder.)

hi....i have a pek and poodle too..but the other way round, my pek is one year old and poodle is just 3 months. both of them are having totally different character, poodle is extremely playful, active and stick to the owner a lot where pek is lazier and tend to sleep all the time. anyway, both of my boys are staying happily now...
