Hi there, how is fluffy doin now.?? I noticed you mention abt shedding. Mind to tell me more abt the shedding syndrome.?? My peke is a year old and last week i brought him to the pet salon and say peke nornally take 1-2 or maybe 3 years for their coat to fully grow.?? Any comments>>???

hey there, fluffy is doing great. ya he started shedding few months back, starting from the back top part and end up, he looks like a lion...hahaha...i've attached his picture for u guys to see. anyway, not quite sure when will they fully grow as i have no experience on having a pek..this is my first one :) perhaps anyone in the forum shall share with us?

Wow, fluffy really looked 'fluffy' ... Haha.. Didn't know fluffy is white in color.??? Mind to ask whether Fluffy is a male or female.?? How old is Fluffy now..??

Fluffy is a boy...5 months ++...he is pure white when i bought him but starting to turn a bit creamy now....notice some brown coat underneath....the vets said we will only know their original colours when they fully grow.....i guess he will have mixture of white and cream coat when he grown up...

I think it is very common for dog to shed twice a year......anyway i am currently looking for tear stain product, i do have one right now but it doesnt seems to be working. Fluffy's eye area is turning brown due to tear stain...thinking how to get rid of it...anyone of you have good recomendation on tear stain product? any of the pek having this problem?? anyway i am attaching another photo of fluffy where my fren said he looks like koala bear...haha quite farnee wau.....nice white peke r....

the coat very nice....mine one, recently drop a lot....

look like very thin de. but this situation wil happen twice in a year (for my dog)...haha...

any reason???

Hey there Pen, its great to hear tht fluffy is goin good too over there. I've ask my fren which is a breeder and a frequent participant in the dog show. He reccomend this brand of Tear stain remover. U can get it from Ikano Power Centre pet shop. Its at the dog grooming shelves. The brand in called 'GOOP' , its a bottled type something like a conditioner (which i never seen b4). He reccomended this product called the 'GOOP' which is a quite powerful tear stain remover. Its a bottled type conditioner(which i still haven't seen it b4). If u have a small or medium size dog, i think the product can last up or more than 20 application. And regarding the shedding, i think shedding is normal but till wat extend the shedding is. Is fluffy sheds little by little normally or at a sudden he shed so much tht will shock u...???

U can also but some supplements for him to eat. Somethinig like tablet vitamins or supplement oil to add in his food for healthier and beautiful coat.

medium size i think the product can last to 20 times of applications. But the product is quite expensive and cost around $100++....

Hi everybody, regarding shedding, Scooby sometimes will sheds more but i never monitor how frequent per year or for how long. But i think it's not to a worry stage. Tear stain is quite a serious problem to Scooby. I don't know bout others dog, but Scooby's tear other than leaving dirty colour, it also smelly. I need to wipe at least 3 times a day or else will be very wet and leave dark brown colour, and smelly. I seeked advice from vet but they said his eyes are healthy. How about your dogs, do you have the same problem?

Hi there, welcome to this forum,looks like we are not so lonely now...

by the way,both of my Pek are also have the stain ,I bought the stain remover fro many months already but still never apply on them yet..

Both of ,y Pek are Cream color...not white...if I use strong flash to take photo of them then they will looks white..

I actually tent to get a second peke. I favour white peke too, but b4 that of course i have to counter this problems like yours la..Combat the tears stain. Have u buy any products to remove the stain yet..?? How effective is the stain remover actually..??

black mask peke do not have stain problem Tongue

I have to wipe my white peke face with a face towel every night, and she don't like at all, always turn her face away.

brought fluffy to gasing last saturday for a walk...cool....it's fun and he seems to be very enjoyed ! one thing, he dunlike to be leash, so he is all by his own way for the whole journey.

anyone of you go there for a walk? i met some other dogs but not pek.

huh ? u went to Gasing last Sat ? I did not gor for 3 weeks already due to back injuries...will be back to action only in 2008...

By the way,we used ot start the trekking abot 8.30 am..I will bring AYAKO & JIRO most of the time..hope to see you again soon.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008 ! Ya i was there for the past few weeks, last week i managed to met some of themat the stream valley and they said Fluffy looks like AYAHO :) they told me you will not be available till 2008. anyway, hope to see you and both AVAYA & JIRO next time.
