Dear Swee Kay, Frenchie are just like any other breed. They are neither all good nor all bad. These are the POTENTIAL problem that I would like all the potential bulldog owner be aware of. The fact stated herein is my two cents about our local frenchie. There might still be some responsible home breeder, who might still remain unknown. All breed of dogs prone to different type of health problem. Yes, it might need some extra care and attention to take care of bulldog than any other breed. But think about it, if bulldog is really not worth of keeping, why is the price are still so high and people still wish to keep bulldog, being french or english. This is difficult to explain until you own one. I am not discouraging you to own frenchie, but my advice is that you must prepare yourself and foresee the responsibility that you have to bare before getting one. It is your responsibility to provide the best to your frenchie, and never give up on them no matter what happens. This can only be done if you are prepare and know what is the problem that certain breed might be facing. The good side of the frenchie? So sorry. I can’t give any example. But you will know what I mean if you have a bulldog. This make bulldog so unique and you rarely see people just keeping one bulldog. You started of with one and you end up with plenty. Once you a bulldog in your life, you can’t imagine a day without them. I have no regret of keeping my frenchies and I feel blessed that I have the chance to be with them. If you are really serious to get one, please try to visit as many breeder as possible, check out their breeding stock, try to contact the owner of the previous litter if there is anythging wrong with the line, talk to the frechie owner about their experience…..Do not rush to get one. Once you are aware of the potential task that you might facing and you are certain that you can cope with it and provide your love and care to the frenchie, yes by all means get yourself one of the best dog breed in the world. All I can do is to share my humble opinion and the welfare of the dogs, most, if not all, depends on the owner. Dear Riccival, Correct me if I am wrong, but Valryk is a kennel from Australia. But the quality of bulldog in Australia and Australia, unlike the terrier, not as good as the Europe and US.
