wow...you have so many dogs!!!!!! and all small dogs...now you have a bigger dog..hehehe....
actually the main thing is what you feed the dog if you want it to have healthy hair..like your silky also has long hair right? just let the border collie's hair grow naturally...no trimming or cutting at all. just brush the hair a few times a week...is not hard to maintain.

I am feeding my dogs with california natural. It seems to be a good dog food. Now my female silky is still botak, lets hope when her hair is long I will know how good it is. It seems that golden retriever has almost the same coat as border collie. I hope her hair can grow long.

wah..border collie?
not much grooming, juz make sure u comb her hair at least 3 times a week coz they are quite heavily coated unlike Silky terrier which does not have undercoat.
grooming would be juz bathing and properly drying her, trim her paw pads & nails...the hair wise u dun need to trim it unless u want it to be short or u want to trim it for a neater look

Thanks for your information. It seems that there should not be too much problem of taking care of her coat. Not sure how thick the coat are at the moment as she is still a puppy. Not too thick yet.

in a way you can say that GR's coat is like the BC...except i think that BC has longer and thicker coats. how old is your magic? am still waiting for her pix...hehehe....

anyway is your dog bred in Malysia? if yes then u don't have to woryy coz they'll have thinner coat. However if it's imported then u have to trim it or thin the fur every 2 months or else i'll be too thick to handle...avtually quite easy to care..imagine a huge pomeranian? that's how it'll look, only that the coat's not as coarse a a pomeranian's coat

No lah, so far magic doesn't really mix with them yet. She like to watch them play around in the house while she sits there..... so obedient..........hahahahaha .
Magic is now 3 months old. Still quite small. Just bigger than my silky. I will post the pic as soon as possible.

Hopefully she is smart .
Both of my dog's parents are from Australia. She is born in Malaysia tough. I think she will have thick coat. So far her coat is building up already. She is still young so I just let it grow first and the coat is also changing. She will definitely be a big pomeranian

in Pg there's a couple who has 7 BC. the parents are fully imported also but the pups born in M'sia but the coat is not as thick as the parents....the sire is really huge and has super thick coat..the pups just acquire half of the sire's coat. just be prapared fpr the shedding coz it's gonna shed a lot if it's heavy coated

So far the coat is not fully grown yet. Hopefully she doesn't shed too much. The hair seems to be getting quite thick for the body. The coat is also fluffy. Still not sure what she will be like.

Yeah she is adorable but she is young quite shy. When a stranger try to touch her she will move away. You sure can hug her when you see her.
Not really hard to take care of them. Just leave them and play. Just watch them to make sure they don't fight. Most of the time my female silky is like boss. She will control the others.

The hairest dog I have is my female silky still. So much hair until after bath need 40 mins to dry with hair dryer. Sometimes people can love their dog very much. Although I have no S2000 all my dogs still get in my proton........hahahahahah

if i'm not wrong the own a florist at Island plaza..it's buds & blossoms..at one time they were selling the pups...but she prefer to keep all..but u knowlah they can't cope with so many dogs...lagi got newborn child...my fren lives in greenlane n has the pup..maybe can ask her to show u lah

i think it's almost 1 d,
i remember when she first gave them, she have sleepless nites..then asked back the pup
however until the 2nd litter came, she could not handle it anymore..4 pups in 1st litter & 5 pups on 2nd litter..so she has to give away..lagi she has the sire & dam plus a ACS n a baby girl

i think she gave a way wif a small sum of adoption fees...n even signed agreement & visitation rights
in a way that's good too coz it'll ensure her pups will be loved..if my fren really loves her, then it'll not be a pressure for them...unless they ill treat her
hey, i have a list of ppl who wan to give me a GR, minpin, ECS, n shih tzu...too badlah coz it's been quite sometime or else can recommend her to u coz he has a really adorable GR but have to give away as he has to go overseas

after giving away to my fren..the number was 11 dogs if i'm not wrong..
she gave away one only coz my fren's bf was close to her....
nolah..not banyak kang tao...but i really cannot keep anymore dogs or my mum's gonna kill me!!!
at last the Gr was given to a couple..good home or not i dunnolah coz it's the owner's frenmah..since i din adopt so dun wan 2 cakap banyaklah the other sogs ppl ask me..u wan a dog? i think u'll give them good home..so everyone's dog ada litter sure i kenalah..but i can't have so many coz i won't be able to love all of them rite? so better give someone wif less dogs or else it's unfair to them

in Kl they have this mating service where the bitch have 2 times to stud, regardless successful or not one has to pay fees ranging from $300 - $500..haha funny or not? it's like a mating business and the male of course does not have certs to prove they have good temperaments of genetically healthy..yet ppl do frequent this type of service....
among the customers i have brainwashed a handfullah but some has the the mindset to earn once they bought the dog..there's nothing i can do then..most of them use excuses like they want to have their pupslah coz want to continue their lineagelah...actually all craplah...unless they breed to show & improve the lines..or elase it's just making $$$..some breed more to produce even more $$$..
yalah..ATM i can still afford my 2 babieslah but i muz admit Tyrus's expenses is slowly kiling me coz she's starting to pick food and have to spend more to buy the food which suits her tastebud..it's my faultlah i know but i want to give them the best..so me dieting a bit or work harder for them is worth it..

hmm...i thot only have stud service one..mana tahu like that also have... but ppl willing to pay $300-$500 for some dog who doesn't have cert proving they come from good lineage and everything?? are they mad?! what is wrong with these ppl?? continue lineage their head lah...just producing more unwanted and sometimes unhealthy puppies while making money in the process. urrrggghhh!!!!
i dunno how these ppl think but when you buy a dog at a high price, you cannot earn back the price but selling the puppies becoz you'd have already paid for all the vet bills and the food and toys and other stuff you provide for the dog!! and these puppies are not "product" that you sell as you wish. it's like, when you have a baby, how are you going to earn back the "price of having a baby"?

got a few customers who came back from Kl told me about the stud service provided by petshops. it's definitely different with the stud service provided by those reputable breeders & show dogs coz they stud to crate better specimen but not these ppl now any way also u can make businesslah..so dogs are not spared
many ppl think if they pay high price for a dog then u should get something out of it in return. sometimes i wonder since they like to breed so much why not breed their wives, daughters, mothers and have a few wives/mistresses so one year can breed 2 times maximum and one baby sell at 10k..so plus the whole family breeding business it'll toll up to around 50-100K annually..not bad rite? get rich faster tat way. did u see mag on a check done by SPCA on these puppymillers? the sire n dam have countless skin problem even cancer and a few very thin n undernourished dogs..wonder if these breeders r living in UK what has happened to them?

I am actually from Pahang. I am working in KL at the moment. My silky is not alpha. My silky is Bibi and Eden. I am really not sure how magic will look like when she grows up. I hope she will be pretty like the border collie I see from book. Yeah she will be much bigger than silky but I think my silky won't mine at all. She even bite my magic, she is not afraid of large dog. In fact she like golden retriever. Is really funny when you see magic moving away when I silky growl.........grrr..........
Taking care of a pup is really tricky. Need to make sure for the first few days that the pup drink milk from the mother every hour or so. Need to watch out for the pup when the mother is with them as some times the mother is too clumsy then can step on them. My silky step on her pup and the hind leg become bend. Need to bring the vet to fix it.......luckily is just minor problem. Need to make sure the pup is always warm especially during the night. Always put them in a box to make sure they don't wonder off. Changing of newspaper like 2 times a day is necessary to keep them clean. The pup will not take any bath until they are around 7 weeks old.
Actually keeping a pup is nice. You can watch them grow from young and pup is very cute. When the pup turn to adult you feel like a mother or father that bring up a child to adulthood. Is really satisfying.

ahh...you say it perfectly. that's what i meant. your dog or your child is not an investment...there're not properties and objects. they're a part of your family and they are living things...these ppl are out of their minds...
actually some show ppl are unethical as well. just becoz they show they think they can breed it...and just becoz the dog's got a title doesn't mean it's good also...but ppl just look at the titles and go "wah..champion ah..must be good".....duh....
ya ya!! if they like to make money by breeding, then can also breed their own wives and daughters lah and sell off the babies to black market or what and get a high price. it's the same theory!!! no din see that mag..but that is what's happening in puppymill!! and the dogs there really really stinks!! no matter what you can't get rid of the smell...and they are in such poor state... what do you mean by the breeders are living in UK? is the mag a foreign mag?

ahhaha...actually what i meant was your silky would be acting like the alpha, the top dog coz you say she likes to boss other dogs around..so she has established herself as the alpha dog. i've noticed that small dogs don't seem to realize that they are small and yes, they are not afraid of big dogs at all. it's a funny sight to see a small dog as the silky barking at a big dog as a GR...ehehhehe..... but i'm glad your silky likes GR...maybe she was a GR in her previous life..

i mean if these breeders live in UK, they have been jailed long time ago. their animal protection act there's quite strict and the punishment there for animal abuse is equivalent to human abuse..that's good coz my bf say u can't even see stray dogs on the street. plus ppl there love mongrels & pb the same...
he always told me he wants to buy a lab from there coz their head & body's so big..n eventhough Tyrus's considered quite big here but she's small compared to them. Oh yes, they are selling a lab there for 300 pounds with cert for Europe & UK...while toys breeds are rare n more pricey..he's in Newcastle n has never seen a pom..but he saw a few in London.
iflah Tyrus can live there..sure fun coz she can take bus & go into dining areas..hehe
no offencelah but i think mkost of these breeders are those shallow thinking ppl who thinks $ is the utmost important thing..n mostly comprised of ppl of our own race hayya..theer's no use to talk 2 ppl like them..look in the forum n u'll see an increasing number of ppl like that..some even w/out knowledge but want to breed...there goes responsible breeding

if your bf could afford, why not get a lab there? theirs are definitely diff from ours here...bigger and nicer. 300 pounds is like RM2100? toy breeds are rare there? is it? 'course it'd be nice if tyrus could live there...then can bring her out almost everywhere..go kai kai!

getting a lb ther's not hard but bringing it back here is a problem..it costs a bomb to transport them back..plus dunno they can stand our humid weather or not? of courselah theirs is nicer..native land mah..somemore can play with Tyrus whole day long. actually it's his dream to bring Tyrus over one day but see how things goes firstlah...

Yeah now I got what you mean. My silky is like to dominant all the dog she can find. When I took her out for a gathering she will do the same thing. The last time in KK she nearly went into a fight with a labrador.
Taking care of pup like 12 weeks old is not too hard. What you need to take care is to make sure the pup doesn't simply pick up things from the floor. Don't let them bite or lick your fingers. Keep the pup warm at all time. Don't let the pup under the fan. One thing I learn pup easily catch cold. Don't bring them out of the house until all 3 injection has been done.

hmm...UK's import rules are very strict right? i read that it's like virtually impossible to get a dog into UK from m'sia coz you need to get lots of health documentations of your dog, like to certify that she is free from all sorts of diseases and stuff. and the quarantine period is like 6 months??!!
i think the lab would do fine here if you send him/her back during warmer months in the UK..so he/she can gradually adapt to the weather here.
yeah...we yell and shout until no energy liao la...ppl just won't listen coz they think their dogs are healthy enough, beautiful enough, free of genetic health probs...blah blah...sigh...should just knock their heads on the wall.

if u import from UK, if i'm not wrong, u need not quarantine. but from malaysia to UK, as long as your dog's healthy it's oklah but quarantine is a mustlah..one of my favourite lab is going to Athens this June..moving together with their Holland family
hmmm..still in our consideration coz we dunno where to place them also if bring them home. his parents are not really keen on keeping dogs indoors, so dun want to bring him back to sufferlah...until we r really prepared than oklah.

yaloh..when she left i cried for days..but i was happy coz they really loved her n she sleeps with them..ermm in their mansion overlooking whole tanjung bungah & gurney drive..nice or not? the house even have their own foosball & snooker table..a TV room and 5 bedrooms, 1 maid's room and endless supplies of food..

You are right my silky will be squashed by the labrador. My silky is always very hot temper.
So far most of them I really don't need to crate train them. They seems to be ok when I put them in. Usually I will ask to walk into their own cage at night. So far no problem.

I am not sure why they are like that but it seems that my dominant female silky is the leader for all of them. If I get her into the cage all will follow. Whe I punish her all will sit and stay down.

true also..tats why they are very happy when i'm holidaying coz can be wif them almost 24 hours aday..now they very terror d, i sleep till noon also they sleep till noon..plus one on the left while one on the right side of my bed

yeah...that's one good thing of keeping them indoors....they keep you company during late nights...so nice...
hahaha....ya ya..want to see 3 doggie dog sleeping together on the bed....ehehhe.....
hahaha...no la i won't let her stomach pecah one...sure i cry coz i love her very much.. she knows how to stop herself...just don tempt her by having something yummy and nice near her..then she'll want to eat..ahahhaha.....

hmm...have told my mom on how border collies would behave..like nipping the legs and chasing things and very intelligent and stuff... i'm not sure leh..she listens but she din say want or don want...
hahahha...ya la....3 doggies on a bed sleeping together....hehehehe....
wah?! 80? "pedigree" hamster is it? i dun even know what my hamster breed is leh... in singapore, the dwarf hamsters are also selling for at least S$20+..diff breed diff pricing. pengsan..

that day i went there to look see..saw 2 praire dogs leh...but so funny the praire dogs..one was sleeping terbalik like meatpie like that..i thot he was dead la...then go and poke poke him and saw him breathing baru know he's just sleeping. but his flesh so soft..ahhaha.... but i'm wondering..i thot praire dog cannot import one? the 2 are not for sale though.

yalah the shop that sale lots of animal wan..
actually they are malaysia's biggest supplier of lifestocks for reptiles& exotic animals..they supply to pet safari & pets wonderland too..of all the places i met the son in KL when they are talking about business.

wah really? but i think their place not good la...too many animals cramp under one small place...got all sorts of birds, monkeys, lizards..all these rare and exotic animals.. and their poor dwarf hamsters..so smelly the bedding.

the other sogs ppl ask me..u wan a dog? i think u'll give them good home..so everyone's dog ada litter sure i kenalah..but i can't have so many coz i won't be able to love all of them rite? so better give someone wif less dogs or else it's unfair to them
