well, shih tzu got short legs and long fur so most probably will be very tough for them esp they are mostly indoor and is not such an active dog compare to others.
I didn't dare to bring my minpin up and true enuf the trail is definitely not suitable for them. The next time we will try a shorter route and maybe an easier trail but no gurantee how easy... coz i have not been there before this too.

hmmm...worse case scenario...gotta carry her lor.
but i'll bring bag that she can fit in...just in case thee trail is too tough for her.
am thinking of something simple like a walk thru the park and a picnic at the end. what do you think? theen the smaller breed like minpins can come along.
hmmm...3 shih tzus and 1 minpin in my block now....hehehe...and anothet unknow breed in block d of my apt...would be fun to invite them all! (sorry...just gotten carried away thinking that shalom has play mates).

hahaha, the mummy have to scarifice sooo much hor. Well, if its a simple walk with no challenge then no fun rite LOL .... I might try to bring one of my more active / sociable minpin next time instead of my ECS.

ha, never tot of asking arun to babysit.... but a bit hard lar... lightning that day also always stop to look for the mummy. If bring mocha or summer means they wud stop all the time n see if the mummy is following or not - esp mocha. she dun simply follow anyone or let anyone drag her anywhere for that matter.
will ask arun to bring his red bag again the next time LOL..... our savior ! the bag i mean... LOL !

hey girl,
there is a gathering on the 21 & 22 at BU lar... this is done TOGETHER with the training. Might not be a good idea since we got gathering liao. Lets make it somewhere in btw the gathering then we get to meet more often n the doggie get to social a bit more.
Doggie might be tired after going for the obedience training (for those who join) and those who didn't might be a bit too pack... joining from one gathering to another jungle trekking.
Just my point of view... u can organise it if there is lots of response asking for it.... or do it like me - an impromptu ones.

well, each individual dog is different even though they are of the same breed.... they each have their own cute lil personality that comforts us. I understand what u mean. The one i love is kept deep in my heart - one of the reason u won't hear me say abt her often as she is too precious to me. Sometimes I'm afraid I'll forget what she looks like or all her cute stuff but I know I won't.
I can never really talk much abt her coz it still hurt losing her .... but lives goes on... I really hope to be able to meet her back one day as my next dog

hmmm..we can always make it tough by adding "carry ur fur baby" condition!
will try shalom on some hill slopes in cheras next weekend and see how she fares....and walkies by the stream as well..my westie hated the water parts of the walk but loved just about every hill / slope especially the downhill part. of course uphill...the westie wld want to be carried sometimes...he just won't bulged...sigh sigh..so much for being a hunting dog breed...
