Hi, actually my wife says it is ok to keep the dogs in the house but I am smarter than that. Dont want to risk the doggies chewing at my marriage, hahahaha. Anyway, when I was doing my research before getting the puppies, I thought that many of the adjustment problems would be solved by giving them like company. She didn't object and the rest is history. I had no whining at night or excessive barking. No loneliness or attention seeking. They just played together when I was not with them.
Yeah, they are back with us now. They are always cranky the first few days. I suspect cos overfed and under-exercised. The vet told me he tried to fed them together with a Doberman. I laughed before he finished his story. Poor Doberman. My Beagles chiak liao liao, hahahah. First night home, the 2 were trashing around until 2 am. I suspect they were walked just enough to poop and pee. Only after 2 days of their normal 3 km daily did they nap quietly, phew. Best regards,J

hhahahh...beagles are big eaters!!! my friend has a beagle and his dog can finish up the whole big packet of kibble!!! wow..and you walk your doggies alot!! they must be super energetic..
Hi, no lah, the dogs stay in the indoor garden next to the living room. I will be in trouble if they chase each other indoors or chew the piano.
It is very demanding to take care of puppies. Very very cute but you have to clean up every 2 hours for the first few months. They are also very active and sometimes just cannot keep up with their energy, phew. But it is very rewarding to see them grow up confident and well adjusted.
Nowadays they walk about 1 1/2 km mornings and evenings, weather permiting. That is a great way for the owner to keep fit. I whacked all the CNY cookies without putting on any weight, hehehe. Best regards,J

not all girls like cute stuffs..i prefer bigger dogs coz they r less fragile..meanin i can throw them to my bed n need not worry if i accidentally step or kick them off bed..hehe but i still love teddy coz they act like 'big dogs'..hehe
i've seen guys with small dogs n man..they took care of the dog better than some femaleamazing rite?
yes the jungle trek in bkt gasing is definitely suitable for the doggies but do take note medium size doggie is adviseable as toy n small size dog might not be able to climb part of the bukit due to the slippery and hard trek.

hi, you are most welcome to inspect the premises whenever you are around PJ. Well, the house was designed with the side of the living room opening to sort of an air well. The sides are enclosed with lots of fresh air and a bit of sunshine. Quite ideal for doggies, actually. I only added a gate, covered part of the roof and tiled the floor. The only thing that puzzles me is that the puppies seems to like walking around in the rain instead of going under the sheltered part unless it really storms. Worried they will catch a cold or flu. actually wehn i had teddy..i was so young but after i've seen n lived with a lab i realised that i love big dogs too...but loved pommies coz they are small yet they are bold n arrogant..thinking that they r big..if i have a chance to choose again i'll choose teddy if i'm living in a n apartment n both big n small dogs if i live in a landed property...but sometimes there might be injuries..esp when tyrus gets excited..

actually i think all small breeds just don't realize that they are small at all...they think they are the same size with the bigger doggies...sometimes you see a real funny sight where the so tiny dog is barking at the super big dog....hahahahah....... i prefer big dogs but if i were to choose a small dog, i just might choose a pom or a MS...heh..=)

dogs being dogs still love the "wild outdoors" i guess...so they don't really care about how good you've constructed their living place for them...haha....a big oepn field sure beats staying indoor any time..

hi, yeah they really enjoy being out in the field. My 2 daughters walk them in the evenings as well and that keeps everyone fit. I very much prefer everyone outdoors in the evening instead of in front of the tv. Best regards,J
yeah, dogs for sports really don't learn what is "clean". i understand your condition as my two cockers enjoy running in pouring rain so much that everytime when it is raining i have to cage them up or else..... they'll turn into wet ducks. those silky long fur turn into smelly mop.
i realise spizt doesn't do that, they r so well behave that they hate to step on puddle and turn a big round to avoid their leg getting wet.
i think beagle is not as bad as cocker as the coat is shorter...... gua?
