Guess everyone knows that Malaysia hardly allows doggies to go to public place. Sometime we just have to break the rule .
I have brought my Gigi to Latar Kinjang for few times. Most of the villagers are real 'bumiputra' or common name 'sa kai' but not malay practicing islamic rule so I didn't chase away or get in trouble.
In fact, some of the Malay were shocked when they see dogs. However, after proving that my doggies didn't disturb them, they are ok with me but of course, I have to get my doggies to play in another side of the waterfall where there is no malay.
But if they really want chase me away, I will ask them to chase away the cats first as there are a lot of cats too .
PS: I would advise don't go in a group as so many dogs in one time will really get ourselves into trouble and they might put up a signboard "dog is prohibited" immediately .
hi, i have been to latar kinjang (access from bidor or tapah, right?) but i thot there are plenty malays always around?
brought pebbles for a swim at kota kemuning on saturday. her first time in months cos she was spayed just before christmas. she really enjoyed herself and it was so delightful to watch her! if only my 2 other dogs would jump into the water with the same wild abandon and enthusiasm!

to whom it may concern, i would like to know whether cocker's instinct of retrieving will be shown automatically ? as far as a gundog is concern, they should be able to retrieve items being asked ?
for my cocker, he will definitely grab anything which happens to fall, but will never bring me them. when you try to play fetch, they'll fetch, but to somewhere else n away from me. Jack

What am I missing... Talking about Cockers... Count me in... My Baby can retrieve ball and give back to me and want to play more.... Sit. shake.. can also... The ball one she pick up hereslf and surprise us.. So from then on we would just say "Go bring ball" and she would.. So cute.. The rest? No la nothing la... Rambo can the basic with treats... The son what also scare so hard to teach... All our dogs are our alarm clock hehehe.. They would scratch the door if they wanna come or go out too.. and would just sit and stare in the morning and lick us hehehe... Meal time ma...Baby is the smartest of them all lo.... rambo love to have his own pace.... So hard to teach them to swim.. Rambo avoided the water when I took him to the KK gathering... So much to tell la.. .Anyway, gotto go... Fiona
