Re: [icezcream] digging the garden and eating stones [In reply to] Can't Post

and now digging is limited to her "I AM BORED" nights...

most days we wake up to an undug garden...but ahem...she still would play with the decoartive pebbles that we have. play only so oklah....

the slipper playing is also negligible...

BUT again i am not sure whether it is beacuse her owner (true owner) is back for her holidays..will have to see what's the status like in week 3 jan then...lets keep all fingers crossed.Smile

now must look for a way to overcome playing with pebbles.Frown

but we have also discussed the probability of taking out the decorative pebbles...don't want to put geri at any risk whatsoever. she is quite a mppj doggie. semua pun makan...and never bother to chew.

Re: [a_evie] digging the garden and eating stones [In reply to] Can't Post

try sprinkle some salt/vinegar or whatever you think she might not like(but of course safe stuff) on the pebbles. see how it works. my mom put vinegar on bones, prawn shell or whatever she thinks that will attract the dogs to savage the rubbish bin and it works. Wink

hi... my dogs are real diggers too!!!
there's a sand pit by the wall fence...i think soon there'll be a tunnel big enough for them to escape the alcatrez....CrazyCrazy

I think they do this cos they are bored....or out of habit. I found 2 holes.. one from each dog.. maybe they r having a competition???

they lack walkies and exercise. walk them more. its helped with our mongrel (german sheperd mix).

and yours definitely sounds like some competition going on...and what are you going to "reward" the winner?

btw, what are the good places that i can bring shalom to in penang?

ohh.. the winner will get a smack in the butt.. muuaahahahhahaaa

yes.. they need more walks.... but sometimes it gets tiring to walk 3... Crazy so i let them run in the garden instead n chase frogs... Tongue

sometimes if i'm tired, just let them go up the car for a ride.. heehee..
LaughSly

ohh.. i dunno where u can go in penang ( i'm in selangor lerr)... but from the forum..it seems like there's alot of dog friendly places... heard there's even a swimming club for dogs...

can u walk them on the beach? always wanted to see if harvey will swim in the ocean.. or play with snow...heheee...

shalom has not been to the beach...only highlands...

i'm quite sure she would think that the waves are some sort of toy like her pooh bear or even rc....she's ok with water..so should be fun to bring her down to the beach. any clean ones around?

hmm.. i dunno about clean beaches... it'll definitely be swarmed with ppl... and it wouldnt be a convenient if we have the dogs running around or swimming...i think accessible beaches in the peninsula r very popular among the malays...

there's a thread about a resort that can cater to dogs in redang.. maybe u cld try...

Re: [xyne] digging the garden and eating stones [In reply to] Can't Post

quite true with having a fair bit of malays around...and that cld well be a tricky issue.

prob will try bringing her to sepang again...there were malays there but they were nice to shalom in general. we had incidents where some dumb kid tried barking at shalom or even kicking stones at her. excuse me...she is restrained by her leash or even in my arms or in the car with us...dunno what they were trying to proof.Mad

aiyoyo... my time no moral lessons 1.

only have sivik or tatarakyat. that one also most times no teaches. so we either bring the class down or do our homework...

the best is always to watch rugby when the season was on...somehow my classes were always next to the field.Laugh so i've actually missed quite a fair bit of classes despite being physically in class.

can sneak in...i was a pengawas...so no chance of sneaking in for 2nd slot.

but my slots always started after recess...hehehe was on the track training or stuck somewhere preparing for the debates.

anyhow..i don;t remember many folks sneaking into school coz teh gates were closed..and all the rotan handlers in school had bird's eye view of the various entrances.

another sir kena sumbat banana in the exhaust and puncture all tyres...amongst the fewlah...
