Oh, so you know about Spotty  He's doing very well. A perfect gentleman (dog?). Mild mannered with truckloads of patience and tolerance and good looks too. A real charmer with an ever ready smile stretching from ear to ear.
I got a pup a year after adopting Spotty. Kept indoors. He's as uncouth as Spotty is refined. Recently, I was munching a cookie and a crumb fell on my chest. The son-of-a-bitch went for it in a flash and almost took off my nipple as well.  (I was wearing a t-shirt and the ex-pup-now-dog is well past the age of breast feeding.)
Actually I am helping out a friend who wants to acquire a beagle pup to grow up with his toddler daughter. So if you have one I'll let him know.
