check ur dog's coat thoroughly after every outing and KILL any ticks or foreign matter that u saw in his coat.
if u think Frontline is too strong, try other mild treatment. i think any reputable vet can recommend it to u.
and i heard that raw garlic can prevent ticks, i tried it before by force feeding my dog to eat it.
but i knew that she hate it so much, so after one week i stop feeding her anymore.
maybe u can give it a try if ur dog luv garlic.
