He looks very much like he has terrier blood. He looks like he has rough hair - does he? How big is he? Not all terriers have standy-uppy ears. Welsh terriers - which have similar colouration as your dog - have folded over ears as do Norfolk terriers, which also has similar colouration as your dog.
Hard to tell what he is/ has, without more info. He's cute though. How did you come to get him?
