That's the Scotty nature for you!!!! They like things their own way on their own terms. Fine if you know how to handle it but hell if you're looking for a biddable dog like a GSD or retriever-type dog. Lots of personality and the most incredible arrogance is typically matched with an immensely lovable nature.
I've had a few Westies and I'd never swap them for a "goody-goody" dog!
