Oh mack mack, I don't mean hitting the pups with the newspaper lah when I gave my opinion, I see the dogs that I tried with the paper works, friend's dog, relatives dog....all very kwai wo.... I never hit them, just make a loud noice while saying 'no' so they know who is boss and what is wrong.... Some dogs like my boxers are very stubborn so when I say no or scold them, they will play but when they see the paper, they will sit quietly and give me a look that says "ok, I'm all ears" So I don't see any problem if we do not hit them, just a little show for them to understand.
If don't use newspaper, use what? Can't use hands and rotan on them.... they will be terribly wounded for life! A relative used the rotan and hand before and to this day, the dog hides whenever it see a raised hand or stick, it has never been loved or petted............
Please tell so I might widen my knowledge on training dogs.....
